Chad has more people than Lori at this point who still love him (there are few things the public hates more than a mother who kills her own children). Maybe through the urging of his children and parents he will finally tell the truth. I don't know though... They're both pretty demented. 2

Calm Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) If watching Colby in pain didn’t open her up, not sure what would unless Daybell betrays her. Wonder if she has been told he has told other women that they were married in past lives. The distance of the video and her hair shielding her face most of the time plus the mask...no real read on her this time. The Kleenex could have been for real or show. She does appear to be paying more attention and becoming less antsy with each hearing. Edited July 1, 2020 by Calm 1

I can’t remember if it was just Julie Rowe reporting it or also Melanie Gibb, but the name was not shared. Apparently the woman’s husband warned Daybell off. Julie Rowe claims Daybell sexually assaulted her (clothes on, not rape), she might have claimed he said the same to her. I know there was lots of speculation he had flirted with her or that she had wanted to be in a relationship with him and thus the overwhelming positive comments early on (this was post alleged assault). ——— It is possible that Lori Vallow medically abused Tylee according to her friend April Raymond in Hawaii. Tylee was constantly sick without doctors being able to tell. Lori claimed she had lots of surgery. OTOH, imo it is possible this was all lie told to April for an excuse to allow Tylee to stay in her room a lot with Cox ignoring her homeschooling, etc. Cant get link to work. From a clip of a Nancy Grace show. 2
Calm Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Wow...her bail for these charges are an additional million, so unless they drop the original charges...which one attorney has said there isn’t a need to, that makes two million for her to get out. The judge btw was her original one she asked to be recused. So that was a waste of money. can’t get link to work. Wonder if I maxed out something with my screenshots. Adam Herberts’ Twitter

Her son Colby and his wife were watching via Zoom. Lori seemed stalwart until Chad Daybell's name was mentioned and then she was dabbing her eyes with a Kleenex. She said she understood the charges, bail is set at a million dollars and the preliminary hearing was set for August 10th, I think. There was a disagreement between the Prosecutor and the defense attorney about whether Lori's attorney had represented Chad Daybell at any point (Defense says no, prosecutor says yes). I watched it too. After the prosecutor brought it up, I did remember that at one hearing, Means was representing both of them, I think Means probably had a reason he felt that incident did not count. I'm not sure it will rise to the level of a conflict of interest, but we'll see what they decide. I think they expected the preliminary hearing to last two days, Aug 10-11th.

I think Lori is a narcissist and so I think her seeing Colby in pain probably registers differently for her than it would for someone who had a normal conscience and could admit that their own actions had caused so much misery and despair for others. I wonder if she worries that Chad could betray her, or if she doesn't even think it's possible. If she follows the case and watches everything about it, she probably knows about the allegations against Chad, but she may not believe the sources are telling the truth. 1

Calm Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 She insisted on being called Mrs. Daybell. I don’t think she cares. She has his name and no one else does right now. 1

Calm Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 (edited) Chad Daybell’s hearing is available through youtube, but I can’t link it. I deleted attachments as well, so don’t have a clue why. It is not giving me an option of not embedded link, so can’t even do that. Sorry. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=ipbSrW3ocIY Weird. Don’t ask me why this works now. Calm Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) Haven't listened to interview myself yet, may not: Quote YIKES! In this new Nate Eaton interview with 97.1 ZHT, he says that Chad and Lori were talking daily after her arrest and he was telling her that:1) the public supported her2) she didn't have anything to worry about3) everything would be over soon.Nate says Lori's lawyer might use these convos to show she was being misled and maybe as a way to say she's not fit for trial.Oh boy...He also says police want to talk to Zulema. https://www.websleuths.com/forums/threads/id-joshua-vallow-7-tylee-ryan-16-rexburg-sept-2019-mom-arrested-46.529975/page-36#post-16196599 also: https://www.eastidahonews.com/2020/07/desertion-charges-dropped-against-lori-vallow-daybell/ Finally listened to this and Eaton says Cox was video chatting with Daybell for hours every day. I guess she is in custody to avoid her running away or harming others rather than for punishment, so an easier life style. Edited July 4, 2020 by Calm 1
Calm Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) In a Court TV video I can’t find a way to link to yet, can’t find it on their site either, they interview a Eric Smith of Julie Rowe podcasts’ fame, he was apparently excommunicated 2 weeks prior to that interview which is after the discovery of the kids’ remains. (banner, he doesn’t mention it). He admits to believing in multiple mortal probations and he has been proselytizing and making money off this kind of stuff, so good call by his leaders imo. The interview reads as Smith wanting to distance himself from Daybell in terms of dangerous beliefs, but also comes across to me as promoting himself as an insider. Says it feels like Daybell “backstabbed” him, which personalizes it, makes him out to be one of Daybell’s victims...which I find rather inappropriate given what pain others have gone through. But I guess the interviewer was pushing heavy for a personal reaction, so he may not have intended to make it about him. He also said that Daybell had a charisma in speaking, it also was more apparent with women. There would be small groups of women at these gatherings (5 or 6) and Daybell would drift into them and then the women would be looking at him “googooly eyes” (sp?) while he talked to them. He would tell people about their past lives for one thing. Edited July 4, 2020 by Calm 1

Zulema was in Lori's ward, as I recall. She's into energy healing. If my memory serves me, I found Zulema Pastenes name as a registered user at AVOW. She was a confidante of Lori's. She was married for two weeks to Alex, she may know a ton of information that could tell who did what. She also could be involved in Alex's death, though I know it was ruled, 'natural causes', I'm still not sure. His death was just too convenient. imo. If Chad was telling her people are supportive, he was sure lying to her.

Early on, he did one podcast about his own reaction to Julie's predictions when it was clear it did not happen.(she predicted the 'wasatch wakeup' earthquake in about spring of 2016, on Bryan Hyde's radio show in May that she wouldn't be to do any more interviews until after the earthquake. She also predicted Trump would be assassinated, trump towers blown up, and other predictions that never happened. I think the radio interview is still up on her website. This was discussed extensively over at LDSff at the time. Of course, she did do more interveiws, and tried to explain it away as being not 'imminent' but in the future. Eric told how he struggled at first, but I guess he decided to stick with Julie. Eric is 'all in', with energy healing, MMP and the rest, so it was just a matter of time before his church leaders figured out he needed a talking to. Apparently Eric chose Julie Rowe and his heretical beliefs over his church membership. I wasn't surprised. I really don't see the supposed magnetism of Chad Daybell, but to each his own, I guess. Chad is like to many of these types, who do these firesides and gain a following. Similar to Doug Mendenhall and his Jedi workshops--he's a follower of Denver Snuffer and he also gained 'converts' through his firesides. I guess he was charismatic too. I expect Chad started out just trying to grow his popularity to sell books, but somewhere along the line, he started to believe his fantasies about himself. imo
Calm Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Yep.... Apparently someone dug out (haven’t seen the original posting yet) a massive amount of pages from the custody case between Joseph Ryan and Lori Cox Vallow. This partly took place during the same time period that Charles Vallow had his custody case, though Ryan’s lasted for years because Cox had them move out of state twice, avoided medical and other evaluation appointments. Joseph Ryan lived in fear of his life and still fought for years to get shared custody of Tylee back even after that relationship had been destroyed by Cox (she had convinced Tylee that Charles Vallow was her dad). I have read that Colby didn’t know till recently that Joe Ryan was not his actual father...sheesh. Pretty certain Cox had him convinced Ryan molested him rather than it actually happened. Which means she exposed him early to sexually inappropriate stuff most likely. This craziness was going on way before Chad stepped in and looks like Alex and Chad were not the only ones she got to do her dirty work (it is the only thing that really explains why so many people were doing weird, violent stuff around her, she lied and convinced them someone else was hurting her or her children and then they tried to protect). The accusations that Tylee was sexually abused are highly unlikely imo (he went though extensive testing and interviews). There was definitely weird stuff going on in the house and the judge must have been so frustrated about what was truth he had cameras set up. Anyway, courts were thinking of removing Tylee from Cox’s care with good reason. I haven’t read more than a few yet. Cox seemed to believe Tylee was the reincarnation of her dead sister, Stacey (Melani’s mom) and apparently talked to her dead lawyer a lot. There will be a YouTube tonight on all this stuff, “Lori Vallow Black Widow”. Can’t figure out how to get a link off of the YouTube app. After reading this, it’s not ‘how did a loving, perfect mother somehow kill her husband and children?” and more wondering how many other bodies are we going to find? I always thought those who were thinking she might have caused her sister’s death (maybe she was getting too much attention from the family) or her lawyer’s were really out of the ballpark, but it is conceivable at this point imo. Melanie Gibb describes her as very charming, makes you feel like someone important to her...and to others I am guessing as she tried to convince she was one of the chosen ones. Charles according to Gibb only fought with her because he was trying to please her and she was never satisfied (me reading a bit between the lines). Something about was very compelling. 1

But I read through that divorce (or custody or something) document someone posted in which the sister's husband outlines life with her. Everything he reported concerning her neglect of her diabetes was so familiar to me. My own daughter tends towards the same kind of neglect and I know that she could die at any time because of it (its terrifying!) After reading that, I really feel that she died as a result of not taking care of herself. In fact I'm astonished that she didn't die sooner. It's such a dreadful, difficult disease. 😢 2
