However, I own many different translations and in different languages - of them I have the RSV, ESV, NRSV, NIV, NASB, Douay-Rheims, and the Wycliffe Bible. 2

Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand of those highfalutin King James Bible words. And I mostly find the same errors in the newer translations as well.
Gray Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I find the KJV to be an impediment to really interacting with the text. I usually default to the NIV because it's easy to get in a quick search, but I'd like to find a better one.

No, Just wanted to express the futility of praying rather than not praying, doing the stuff God doesn't want you to do, (like blasphemy)....Sorry PaPa but I have no respect for an entity who has no courage to reveal himself....What kinda excuse would He have not to reveal Himself to us?
