Popular Post bluebell Posted June 24, 2016 Popular Post Posted June 24, 2016 (edited) Deborah went in on Monday for a surgical procedure and has had some major complications, to the point that they are not sure she is going to make it. Out of respect for her privacy i won't elaborate but I know that her family would appreciate your thoughts and prayers right now. Edit to add-Deborah passed away in her sleep Sunday after complications following surgery. Edited June 27, 2016 by bluebell 6
Jeanne Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Prayers and then some for Deborah. Keep us posted if you can bluebell. 1

Guest Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Prayers, and God speed her recovery! The same happened to me on Dec 7th...due to prayer and Priesthood blessing I am able to pray for her today. Be believing, please.
Calm Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 She han't been posting as much this past year due to health issues: http://www.mormondialogue.org/profile/2067-deborah/
Calm Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 It may take up to a week to know if the treatment is working. Her daughter is being kind enough to post updates. 1
VideoGameJunkie Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 I wish her the best. Someone should give her a priesthood blessing.

Calm Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 It appears she has had a massive stroke. Family needs the prayers now as they prepare to say goodbye. It all seems completely unreal.
thesometimesaint Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I am so sorry. May she be at rest in the arms of our Lord.
Tacenda Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) Oh, this is so sad, I hope she doesn't suffer. She was a great example of faith in this church. I also remember her love of her family, in particular, her daughter, when she spoke of her. I hope she can be the more than three quarters that can survive after the first year; although the rehab may be a long one. ETA: doesn't look good for her, I didn't read the posts thoroughly enough. Calm Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 If by chance you know Deborah in real life or by her actual name, please respect the family's privacy and give them a chance to deal with what is haapening in their own way. The information on the past week has been pulled, which I am assuming means they don't want to be flooded with questions or sympathy right now, so please be cautious.

I don't know her personally, just going from reading her posts.
Calm Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 No, no. It was just a general post in response to the family removing the information. I assume that Deborah talked privately to a number of people on the board or met them at the FM conferences she attended as that is the way I have had contact with her and if they have just been relying on the thread here in Social, they won't have the whole picture.

Jeanne Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Sorry to hear about this Got to know her a bit when we had the women's board connected here. May she be greeted with all the love she has given.
Calm Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Deborah died peacefully in her sleep this afternoon. I and Bluebell no doubt will keep an eye out for additional information in case someone would like to attend her funeral, send flowers or a donation. Edited June 27, 2016 by Calm
