Daniel2 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Does anyone know why some post-ers' Rep Points are grayed out so we can't award them any points...? There seem to be several occasions that I'd like to give points for a post I think is well said, but am prevented from doing so... Consigliari is one example I can think of... Well, as long as you have brought up the subject, I will say that I was advised by the moderators back in January I was to be on limited status until February 20th. That date has long since come and gone, and I am still on limited status. I messaged the moderators about the issue and have received no response. It's too bad, really, because there are several threads I wanted to start. Not to mention all the rep points I am missing.

Considering the fact that there is opposition in all things plus the fact that people who have acted badly can get time off for good behavior it stands to reason that people who have acted badly should also have time added for additional bad behavior Which makes it only fair that the moderators are keeping you on limited status for continuing to behave badly. 1

Before "Limited" could recieve, but not grant rep points. My method is to just beg like a dog at the table waiting for bread crumbs to fall from the Master(s) table. So in keeping with that time honored tradition; begging strips please!

Yeah, that must be it. consig isn't getting any rep points probably because that's just part if of the standard package of the recent upgrade that allowed people who had been placed on limited status to post again. Makes sense to me now.
