Popular Post Scott Lloyd Posted March 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2015 Perhaps I can be pardoned for starting a thread about an individual poster if it's to point out that calmoriah is closing in on 10,000 rep points. She was about 12 away from it last I looked. Has anyone in the history of the board yet reached that milestone? 9

She was about 12 away from it last I looked. Has anyone in the history of the board yet reached that milestone?I don't know the answer to your question, but let me say that calmoriah is one of the best here on this board. Her posts are respectful and also extremely informative. She's always willing to offer help and I have not seen her be judgmental or unkind in any of her responses. She is one of my favorites to read on here. Congratulations calmoriah! You deserve every rep point you get! 7
Popular Post UtahTexan Posted March 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2015 She deserves a ton of credit. It was her and those like her who helped me the most..... 5
Popular Post name Posted March 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2015 Having 7, I wonder if I'm currently in second place? 5
JLHPROF Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Calmoriah always contributes great things to threads and I have learned a lot from her responses, even when we have disagreed. She somehow always manages to keep a level and respectful tone. Something I need to learn to do better!Congrats Cal! 1
Popular Post Calm Posted March 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2015 Don't make me cry, guys…I am extremely susceptible during Feb and March... 25
stemelbow Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 It should be mentioned she gives out rep points as much as she gets them, and maybe even more. I put out some seemingly ill-conceived but from my heart post thinking no one will pay much attention to it, only to learn the sole rep point I may have gotten was from her. Now I know my contributions mean little compared to hers so it's nice to see she is so accepting of my comments and so willing to listen to other people's points of view. I see her as a vital piece of this board, and always appreciate her posts. Thanks, Scott, I'm glad this thread was started. 4
Uncle Dale Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Don't make me cry, guys…I am extremely susceptible during Feb and March... You were here when I came... and, uh, well since I'm29 (crossed fingers) you may be approaching 39 by now. UDMay your heart always be joyfulAnd may your song always be sungMay you stay forever young 2
name Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hey Stem, I put out some seemingly ill-conceived but from my heart post thinking no one will pay much attention to it, only to learn the sole rep point I may have gotten was from her. Yeah, Cal and I had a PM exchange about that - turns out she hit the rep button by complete accident that time. Sorry, friend!
stemelbow Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hey Stem, Yeah, Cal and I had a PM exchange about that - turns out she hit the rep button by complete accident that time. Sorry, friend! hah...awesome...I have a feeling I know you from somewhere else. Could it possible be that you are a good old pal from the past? Maybe a certain one who can see scary things that go boo? If so, I hope all is well with you and yours.

Scott Lloyd Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 I blame it on my 60-year-old eyes combined with my scratched reading glasses, but I read it wrong. She's a few points away from 9,000, not 10,000. Still at the rate she amasses them, she'll probably get there within the week.
Popular Post Calm Posted March 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2015 Hadn't looked at it for awhile and just took your word (was thinking 'boy, I really have no sense of time passing")…now I am crushed. 5

In the grand tradition of Wemmicks, I just gave Calmoriah another rep point than for no other reason than because she has so many! Oh wait... that wasn't really the moral of the story, was it? But Cal deserves 10,000.

But my 1800 will probably have to do as recent events in my life make me feel unworthy to speak with any pearls of wisdom to anyone. If I ever did have the wisdom to help others? Either, time for some soul searching, prayer, fasting and scripture study...a lot of it! Edited March 11, 2015 by Pa Pa
VideoGameJunkie Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Cal has always been very helpful and kind to me so I can feel safe on these forums. 1

sheilauk Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) I've never seen a board with rep points. How do we find out our standing?congrats calgo to your members profile. Thebrep points are in green box. There's also a section called reputation where you can see which posts were given a rep point. Hover on the number in the little green box and it will tell you who gave you the points. Edited March 11, 2015 by sheilauk
Scott Lloyd Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Cal is just on 9000! Congratulations! And I agree with everything thats been said in this thread about Cal.As do I. I'm sorry if I embarrassed her by making a premature announcement, but I'm not sorry about the tributes it brought forth. 2
Scott Lloyd Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 go to your members profile. There's a section called reputation.True. But you can quickly find your total simply by hovering your cursor over your name. If you do go to the profile, you can click on "Reputation" and see in reverse chronological order which posts have received rep points and how many. And -- one of the most fascinating things for me -- if you click on the rep points you've received for a specific post, you can see who awarded you those points.
MorningStar Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Cal is the greatest poster this board could ask for! 1
name Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 But you can quickly find your total simply by hovering your cursor over your name. Odd! When I place my cursor over my name, there is no total. All it says is "Your reputation is severely lacking" ........But no total? 1
