Mine is eternal families. Nothing is more important to me than being with my family and cats for eternity. Yes, I will be with my cats, I prayed about it in the temple and received that answer. And of course, dwelling with our heavenly parents who are our family as well.

I love the internationalness and I love running into Mormons whenever I get out, you have that bond with them and you don't know a thing about them. I was thinking about this the other day but I will ever so grateful for the kind hospitality shown me by the members I was around in the mission field. I know that this isn't exclusive to the Church but it's one thing I love

What you described makes me think of the church as a wonderful fraternity. It's like running into fellow frat brothers from other chapters.

exactley, like how when a new family moves into the ward you just surround them with love and help

Having common values. I go to church and see hundreds of people who share my values and beliefs. I have thousands of friends who I know and trust.

Uncreated intelligences coeternal with God and Christ. It elevates man in my estimation  ;)

for example last night I had correlation with the missionaries. The new sister in our ward is a former High school student body president from Mesa, Arizona. Other then both being LDS we have absolutly nothing in common yet she was here for 1.5 hours sitting on my couch eating Tim Horton donuts with the rest of the missionaries

Duncan that's a great story! Another aspect and concept I like about the church is service and tithing where we have the opportunity to help build temples and help build the kingdom of God.

While the concept of exaltation and living like God is magical, we shouldn't have desire for ultimate power and command and grandeur.

I don't think you know The Nehor very well, VGJ... He gave me a good chuckle...

What I really love is the whole Plan of Salvation... merciful, grand, totally fair..

Because it isn't Christ-like.... oh wait...

Yeah, the guy who is glowing everytime he appears and keeps talking about his imminent return and the destruction of the wicked cannot lecture me on grandeur being a bad thing. :)

I agree, family God's first institution, his first Gov't, his first Church, his greatest achievement.
