  1. Past hour
  2. I wish you the best in your pursuit of health and happiness, Tony.
  3. It seems we do the same push ups on the wall. I live in a house, so able also to use the stairs to strengthen my legs. Although I do so in moderation, arthritis starting in the knee. The pickle ball sounds great fun. Sure you and the other ladies rock. 👍
  4. One of the reasons those living in certain places in Asia have greater life span is the habit of sitting and sleeping on the floor rather than furniture. The constant getting up and down does for them what squats are supposed to do for us who sit on chairs, etc. Don’t have to lose your furniture though, just do squats. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2023/09/09/1198047149/blue-zones-health-centenarians-healthy-habits
  5. You really out to get out more and maybe actually talk to trans people. I'll let you know if the trans-mafia knocks on my door though. I'm not ranking anyone. I think all people deserve to be addressed and treated with respect. That their lived experience should be respected as long as that lived experience doesn't impinge on the rights and freedoms of others. I think that any legislation to address this, should include stipulations that require health insurance to cover transisitions as well as increase access to gender affirming care. Including with tax payer subsidies if necessary. I am happy to entertain exceptions. But honestly I expect this situation to be vanishingly small. In talking with family and friends who are trans, including in reading on trans forums on reddit, most people just want a safe place to pee. And most people want to choose the gendered bathroom where they will be noticed the least. These are not my views. Those are explicitly your views. I think people's lived experiences ought to be respected and acknowledged. Invalidating someone's identity is entirely your schtick, not mine. We are explicitly talking about some type of bathroom or lockerroom standard. In that limited context I am happy to support CB's proposal as outlined. Identity is sufficient lol. My aunt felt was a girl her entire life. That was her lived experience. She didn't transition until she was in her forties. She's lived openly as a woman since then. She passes. I asked a coworker that was her age (the coworker didn't know her trans status), and he said she was more attractive than my mom. Restricting her access to women's private spaces until after she transitions does not deny her womanhood or her identity. Your denial of their lived experience is your bigotry. You call their names fabricated. You want to humiliate them by forcing manly men into women's bathrooms. You want to send passing females into mens spaces. That is horrifying. You want to deputize the general population to openly harass and sue them. This is what makes you a bigot. You aren't protecting women in their spaces (since you literally want to force passing men into the women's bathroom). You are explicitly forcing your religious world view on others. This is what makes you a bigot.
  6. Threads got reported as spam again.
  7. So since the church has clarified its position, and you disagree with it, and instead hold on to a talk given in the 70s, it appears you do not trust the present leadership or at least its position on this topic. Which is fine, you don’t have to trust current leadership, but if you’re going to preach to us it’s helpful if you can clarify your absence of faith in present leadership.
  8. That is a smart way to do it.
  9. Today
  10. Except this is exactly what this solution does. In both cases, the state punishing speech by changing classes, ordering non-contact, and imposing disciple. All based on constitutionally protected(?) speech.
  11. It's a softer tone than throwing previous leaders under the bus.
  12. I just found out I have an inguinal hernia, so I need to watch what I do. And by the way, I do push ups on the wall, is that the same as your press ups? There's no way I can do them on the ground. Also, I wish I had done this earlier in life, I do squats while I'm brushing my teeth but hold onto the bathroom counter as I go down and other exercises such as standing on my toes or side to side knee bends. And it also helps me to brush my teeth longer, haha. Or other times of the day I'll use my kitchen counter or my stairs to run up and down. And walking, plus weights as well. I don't like going to the gym much. I play pickleball with other ladies around my age and it's so much fun and a great work out. Senior ladies rock at pickleball a lot of times. For a drink, I make fruit smoothies and keep them in my freezer. I wish you well on your journey, you got this!!
  13. It's proper to correct false teachings.
  14. May future generations look at my own barbarism with compassionate understanding, but also not fall into the trap of making excuses for it. I should be better, regardless of this time that I live in. Light may shine more dimly based on where we are, and the society we find ourselves immersed in, but it shines nonetheless. The fault of my inability to be an enlightened version of me, that future generations won't look upon with uncomfortable distain, ultimately falls on me. Or so go my pre-caffeine smarmy thoughts while reading [at the time, Elder] Kimball's talk. Here's to those eventual awkward Thanksgiving dinners where my grandkids look on in shocked embarrassment, and proclaim, "Grandpa, you can't say that!" Hopefully I'll have my wits enough to still to listen and change.
  15. Greetings! I’m an unusual case in light of the fact that when seniors perform squats it’s strongly recommended they never dip lower than the point where their thighs are parallel to the floor, and this so as to prevent potential injury. The only reason why I’m able to easily do 100 deep knee bends every other day is because I’ve gradually and cautiously improved my leg strength and mobility to the point that I’ve now demonstrated to my satisfaction that I’m very likely not going to incur injury. And while it’s true that there’s added physical benefit to squatting down as low as possible, I’m definitely an outlier because deep knee bends for seniors are not recommended. In addition, it’s important to let you know that almost all physical therapists and trainers will tell you that if you were only able to do one exercise for the rest of your life that squats would win hands down. As we age, the legs are normally the first thing to go, so keeping your legs strong and flexible will pay enormous benefits! And remember to be sure you get adequate quality protein in your diet because sarcopenia (age related muscle wasting) will actually accelerate if you exercise without supplying enough protein for post exercise muscle recovery. Finally, my 6 days per week workout program is quite varied with 20 different weight resistance and calisthenic exercises, with an added 30 minutes on an exercise bike on each of the six days. It’s no fun, but my health is excellent (I take zero prescribed drugs) and when I’m not huffing and puffing I feel great! An added benefit is that I’ve definitely noticed disciplining the will to face the rigors of an uncomfortable exercise program toughens and sharpens the mind. All the best!
  16. They seem more restricted. 4 new topics a day?
  17. Our XBOX which art in Redmond, Halo be thy name. Thy Game Pass come, thy updates done, on console as in Windows XI. Give us this day our daily achievement. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who PlayStation against us. And lead us not into microtransactions, but deliver us from the Red Ring of Death. For thine is the console, the power, and the gamerscore, forever and ever. Achievement Unlocked P.S. Kind of hope this thread doesn't get deleted, but I've reported all these as SPAM, so enjoy it while it's here.
  18. Don't treat NBA 2K27 Season 1 like a race to Level 40 and nothing else. The best part of this opening track is that a good City session, a few MyTEAM games, and smart use of NBA 2K27 MT can all support the same 40-level target. That shared progression changes the usual 2K routine: you can play the mode you're actually feeling that night without staring at a separate pass that isn't moving. The shared track is the real Season 1 reward NBA 2K27 ties The City and MyTEAM progress to one ladder, and that matters more than it first appears. Previous season structures could make a player feel locked into one activity just to keep pace. Here, your time can serve two purposes. Build your MyPLAYER in REC, then switch to MyTEAM when you want a different pace; the season meter still benefits. That flexibility makes the grind less exhausting, especially during the first weeks when your build, lineup, and preferred mode are still taking shape. Know which milestones actually affect your squad The free path has cosmetics, boosts, Badge Slots, Cap Breakers, packs, and headline MyTEAM cards, but not every unlock deserves equal attention. Level 1 Amethyst Bam Adebayo is an immediate playable big, while Diamond Desmond Bane at Level 10 gives the early ladder real roster value. The cards later on are the bigger draw, yet early utility can improve every session before you ever reach the endgame. Level Reward focus Why it matters 7 Bonus Badge Slot Useful for refining a MyPLAYER build 10 Diamond player card A meaningful early MyTEAM upgrade 20 Pink Diamond Ivica Zubac A major midpoint roster prize 40 Dark Matter Derrick Rose The main free-track MyTEAM destination What I'd prioritize before chasing cosmetics Season 1 has some fun City flex items-the Orange Swirl Hoverboard, Cyber Robot Eyes, Prowl Minnesota Lynx mascot, and Ninja Suit: Apprentice-but they don't help you win a close REC game or reshape a MyTEAM loadout. At least in my experience, players lose time by fixating on a Level 40 cosmetic while ignoring rewards that improve the games they are playing right now. Claim and equip Badge Slot rewards before changing your build plan. Save 2XP Coins for a session where you know you can play consistently. Use early MyTEAM cards before deciding they have no role in your lineup. Set a weekly level target instead of trying to rescue the entire pass late. The mistake most players will make Don't assume every season card belongs in your permanent five-man rotation. Bam, Zubac, Khris Middleton, Olivia Miles, and Derrick Rose can be useful rewards, but fit matters more than card color. Look at what your current lineup lacks: interior defense, shooting, ball handling, or bench scoring. Then test the new reward in actual games. A shiny card that overlaps with your best option may be better used through the Exchange system than forced into a lineup that already works. Events are where the pass stops feeling repetitive 2XREP Weekends across Casual Corner, REC, Theater, Ante-Up, Proving Grounds, and Crew Divisions give NBA 2K27 players a reason to plan their sessions rather than simply spam games. Midway adds challenge-based goals, while Blackout uses Bingo-style lines for VC, Skill Boosts, apparel, and more. Those modes matter because they break the autopilot loop. And, from what I've seen, players who rotate objectives tend to stay engaged longer than players who only watch the level bar. Free track first, premium pass second The Pro Pass adds another 40 reward levels plus automatic Dragonfire items, a 91 OVR Diamond Jimmy Butler, and a Season 1 Pro Pass Pack; the Hall of Fame Pass adds XP help, level skips, and VC. That's appealing, but the free ladder already has a real payoff with Dark Matter Rose. Start by deciding how often you'll realistically play, then judge the premium route against your actual goals-not hype. If you're building a MyTEAM collection, tracking your progress beside opportunities for 2K MT can help you plan purchases without abandoning the rewards already waiting on the free path.
  19. You've cleared your bags, tuned a fresh Diablo 4 build, and then realize the thing blocking your next session isn't DPS-it's figuring out where Skovos actually opens. Before you spend an evening comparing Diablo 4 runes and planning an endgame loadout, know this: Skovos is tied to the Lord of Hatred campaign, not a coastline you can simply ride toward from the existing map. That distinction saves a lot of pointless waypoint hunting. Getting to Skovos Without Wasting Time Start or continue the Lord of Hatred campaign, then follow its opening objectives until the voyage to the Skovos Isles begins. A new Diablo 4 character should select the expansion campaign start if the story matters to you; an eligible existing character can continue from its current progress. Arriving on Skovos does not mean every island, encounter, or story area is immediately open, because the campaign gates parts of the region on purpose. Confirm that the Lord of Hatred expansion is active on your account. Select the expansion campaign start for a new Diablo 4 character. Follow campaign objectives instead of searching mainland borders for an entrance. Keep progressing after arrival before judging what Skovos has available. Unlock Temis, then treat it as your working hub for repeated activities. Skovos Is an Endgame Base, Not Just a Story Stop The useful part of Skovos is Temis. Diablo 4 has often sent players back and forth between systems, vendors, and activity entrances, but Temis is positioned around repeat play with services tied to War Plans, the Tower, the Pit, storage, and more. The islands also give the game a different visual rhythm: coastlines, settlements, volcanic ground, water, decay, and regional discoveries break up the familiar inland grind. From what I've seen, that matters because a zone stays memorable when you return for practical reasons, not only because its campaign cutscenes looked good. Diablo 4 Question Practical Answer Why It Matters How do I enter Skovos? Progress the Lord of Hatred campaign. It prevents wasted exploration time. Why unlock Temis? It supports recurring progression activities. Less downtime between runs. Are all areas open on arrival? No; some access follows story progress. You have not missed a secret path. Returning Uniques Need to Earn Their Slots Season 15's returning iconic items are interesting because they bring old Diablo names into a very different build environment. Stone of Jordan, Leoric's Crown, Nemesis Bracers, Squirt's Blouse, Arioc's Needle, Henri's Perquisition, In-Geom, The Furnace, and Messerschmidt's Reaver have all been associated with the returning group, while early information around Ring of Royal Grandeur has been less settled. Don't equip something just because you recognize it. A Unique must justify losing another ring, helm, weapon, or defensive option in your Diablo 4 setup. Test the Play Pattern, Not the Tooltip Fantasy Stone of Jordan could appeal to resource-heavy rotations; Leoric's Crown may matter to builds hungry for skill ranks, cooldown help, or survivability; In-Geom and The Furnace could influence burst windows and boss DPS. But a big tooltip can hide a clumsy rotation. Do this: run your normal activity, watch resource flow, cooldown timing, and survival during dense pulls, then compare clear speed over several runs. Don't swap gear after one lucky proc or one bad RNG stretch. The real meta test is consistency under pressure. What I'd Prepare Before Season 15 Rebirth gives Diablo 4 players a reason to revisit a familiar class without treating that character's history as disposable, and that makes experimentation more appealing. Have one class plan, one backup skill package, and enough inventory room to evaluate drops instead of instantly salvaging them. Keep an eye on how Soul Splinters, Challenge Dungeons, Overland Ambushes, and Mythic changes affect your priorities, then adjust your d4 gear around the content you actually run rather than copying a loadout built for somebody else's grind.
  20. Your POE 3.29 Atlas tree is a budget, not a trophy. A flashy setup can look brilliant beside high-wealth accounts, yet leave your own stash empty after scarabs, maps, rerolls, and slow trade time eat the returns. That is why the interest around wealthyexile matters: players want more than screenshots of loot explosions; they want to know how POE currency becomes a repeatable farming plan that survives bad RNG and an average weeknight play session. Read the Atlas data like a player, not a copy machine Wealthyexile is most useful in POE 3.29 when you treat it as a pattern finder. It can show what established accounts tend to prioritize, but it cannot tell you whether your build has enough DPS, defenses, map pool, or patience for that same plan. From what I've seen, the real value is spotting which mechanics appear together, then asking what those players are paying to make that combination work. Check whether your build clears the chosen content without deaths or awkward backtracking. Count every map input before judging loot: map preparation, fragments, scarabs, and trade time. Run a small sample before committing all your POE 3.29 Atlas points. Keep enough liquid currency to continue farming after a few poor maps. The three stages players keep skipping POE 3.29 rewards specialization, but specialization has a runway. Early Atlas progression should favor completion, map access, and low-friction income. The middle stage is where you identify one mechanic your build actually enjoys farming, rather than forcing the current meta. Only then should you min-max expensive map setups. The common mistake is jumping from basic sustain straight into a wealthy account's loadout, then wondering why every run feels like a clutch recovery. Profit is not the same as loot on the ground A map that showers you with items can still be a weak POE 3.29 farm if sorting, pricing, and selling takes longer than the map itself. Listings and apparent prices are only signals. Ask how quickly an item moves, whether buyers want it in the quantity you have, and how much of your capital sits idle while you wait. A steady stream of easy-to-sell materials often beats a rare jackpot that looks amazing in a clip but barely converts during your grind. A quick POE 3.29 decision table Before changing your Atlas tree in POE 3.29, compare the strategy against your actual character instead of its theoretical ceiling. This is the part most wealth-based data cannot do for you. Situation Better Atlas direction Why it fits Low map pool. Sustain and low-cost content. Keeps the session running. Fast clear, limited capital. One focused mechanic. Reduces setup waste. Strong build and reserve funds. Higher-investment mapping. Lets volume justify inputs. What I wish more Atlas guides mentioned In POE 3.29, your tolerance for friction is part of the build. Some players love bulk trading, detailed stash tabs, and constant market checks; others would rather chain maps with almost no downtime. Neither preference is wrong, but it should shape your farm. A strategy that needs ten small trades before each batch may be profitable on paper and miserable in practice. And if unclear localized challenge text sends you toward the wrong objective, verify it through in-game progress before rebuilding your tree around it. Use wealthyexile as a filter, then trust your own runs The smartest wealthyexile takeaway for POE 3.29 is not "copy the richest tree." It is "match investment to proof." Track a few sessions, record preparation cost, clear time, deaths, and what actually sells; then adjust one variable at a time. If you need a faster restart for a tested plan, buy Path of exile currency can support the setup, but it will not fix a strategy your build cannot clear comfortably. Your best Atlas setup is the one you can repeat without turning every map into work.
  21. You can lose more time on Worth Your Salt by treating it like a loot run than by fighting anything in Rocket Assembly. The ARC Raiders Items page may help you keep the wider progression picture in mind, but this Arc Raiders quest is really about executing one clean sequence under pressure: find the Battery Prototype, charge it, drop it off, and decide how long you want to remain in a building everyone else knows is valuable. What Worth Your Salt Actually Tests Celeste gives you Worth Your Salt after Groundbreaking, and the entire job happens during a single Spaceport raid at Rocket Assembly. You are not meant to extract with the finished quest item. That detail changes your decision-making. Once the Charged Battery reaches the drop-off container, the objective is done; staying afterward is a separate risk-reward call, not part of the mission. At least in my experience, players get into trouble because they mentally combine "finish quest" and "clear the building for loot" into one goal. The Three Stops Inside Rocket Assembly The route is compact, but each stop asks for a different kind of awareness. First, climb toward the warehouse's upper red walkways and search near the open doorway and red lockers for the high-positioned container holding the Battery Prototype. Then bring it to the Industrial Recharger in the central warehouse area, using the smaller console beside the machinery rather than circling the whole unit. The final delivery container sits in a corner near a doorway, which makes that last few meters more exposed than they first appear. Quest Stage. What Players Miss. Best Response. Prototype search. Looking only at floor level. Check elevated walkways first. Recharge. Interacting with the wrong machine surface. Find the nearby control panel. Delivery. Lingering after completion. Choose extraction or looting immediately. Why the Recharge Is the Real Danger Point Finding the prototype is mostly a visual check. Charging it is where Worth Your Salt becomes a live Arc Raiders problem. The process keeps you near a predictable machine for a short time, while the carried battery limits your ability to reposition freely. Before you start, take a beat to listen and look at the routes into the warehouse. Don't begin the interaction just because you reached it first. A quiet room can turn contested while you are locked into a task, and a clutch escape is harder when you have already committed to the console. A Clean One-Raid Checklist The strongest approach is disciplined rather than aggressive. Rocket Assembly can support a profitable detour, but the quest itself does not reward a full clear or any elaborate min-max routine. Do this, not that: complete the chain with intent, then reassess your loadout, health, and the noise around you. Enter Rocket Assembly with the upper walkway as your first destination. Scan doorways before opening the prototype container. Locate the recharger console before committing to the battery interaction. Watch nearby approaches while the recharge runs. Deliver promptly, then leave unless the raid still feels controlled. The Old Completion Problem and the Smart Exit Patch 1.18.0, released March 3, 2026, addressed the earlier issue where a Raider could lose access to the final stage after another player completed it in the same raid. So outdated complaints about the delivery point being permanently unavailable should not define your plan now. If something still behaves oddly, resetting the objective through a fresh raid is more sensible than throwing a good loadout into repeated attempts. Players comparing quest rewards, crafting goals, or places to buy ARC Raiders Trinkets should remember that Worth Your Salt pays out the Vita Spray Blueprint and advances Celeste's Project Heartwood progression, making a fast, safe completion far more valuable than forcing extra warehouse loot.
  22. I’m gonna double down in fact: What’s the deal with the Tongans??? You see that video of a literal crip gang funeral inside the lds building, speaker wearing balaclava all tatted up , wearing gang colors and drinking a corona beer…. At an lds funeral? . Everyone in there acting like it’s all normal procedure. Turns out it kinda is. The funeral was even decorated up in crip colors. that gang is totally running that ward. 100%. Bishop is a mere figurehead and prob in on the program too. No doubt. so yea this is a Tongan problem. Call it racist all you want, but they own this. Watch the video- you will see https://www.christianwarriortraining.com/p/did-the-crips-take-over-an-lds-church
  23. That it was strongly disapproved of in the past and now per the Church Handbook it is not something anyone but the couple (and possibly God) should have a say in. If you are looking for a statement saying birth control is approved or not prohibited you won’t find a clear one which is my point. Church leaders sneak in these changes without repudiating what was formerly taught which is why you have members who think birth control is prohibited because of quotes they have read when it is not. The illusion of not changing seems to be very important to Church leaders and they don’t like disavowing previous teachings. They do it occasionally with ‘Curse of Cain’ stuff and things like blood atonement but it is rare. They seem to prefer to just hope the old ideas will die out in time.

  25. Ward security specialist (armed) is pretty much a fake calling. There are no official church positions other than assigned out of the COB for General Authorities and special events or circumstances for armed personnel. I'm open to being wrong, but my ward has "security specialists" too and i just looked them up and none of them have that listed as a calling so i believe it to be a made up local thing. Official church policy is all weapons are prohibited in church buildings with the exception for certified current police officers. Anyone who engages in armed security work at the local level at the request of a bishop or stake president would be well advised to get the assignment documented on paper though kirton mckonkie, tape record the appointment (calling) and get it archived. If in that capacity you shoot someone at church(even if they needed to be killed) I 100% guarantee you the church will not indemnify you and the bishop or whatever stake leader will be blamed for going rogue and not following church policy.
  26. I've been out of the loop for a while so your posts are the first time I've heard of anything like this. Imo it's prudent, and of course unfortunate that present circumstances make it prudent. Thirty-something years ago a man began calling our ward repeatedly threatening to show up and kill Mormons. Nobody else took his threats seriously, which was probably logical because nothing like what he was threatening had ever happened. I appointed myself "unofficial greeter", hanging around outside before and after meetings, and keeping an eye on what was happening outside and/or at the entrances as best I could during meetings both on Sundays and during the week. I was in the bishopric so my presence wasn't abnormal, and people just thought I was this cheerful little guy who liked to greet everyone. Nobody ever knew I was carrying, illegally because there was no other option in that jurisdiction at that time. Glad to hear there is now an actual plan in place, at least in some locations, and that actual trained personnel are involved.
  27. The Journal of Book of Mormon Studies, volume 4, no. 1 contains a few articles that I think related to what you are asking about above.
