I am surprised that dermatologists are prescribing the horse medicine though, which is supposed to be an oral paste medicine for horses - hence the apple flavoring -and is a higher dose of medicine for much larger animals and a different formulation of ingredients. Sounds like it is pretty popular for rosacea though, and some people swear by it: https://lesliebaumannmd.com/can-you-use-5-horse-paste-to-treat-rosacea/ If I had a choice between steroids, a $500 Ivermectin topical paste for humans, or a $5 Ivermectin oral paste for horses, I might be tempted to try it too. If however, I had a choice between a $5 horse paste untested for ingestion in humans for use with Covid, and a free vetted vaccine proven to be safe and effective, I would chose the free and effective option every time.
