jerryp48 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I haven’t posted in years but recently my sister has been talking about moving to Fairfield or thereabouts and gave my mother a book entitled “Alive in Christ” that purports to be a direct revelation from Jesus Christ. The book doesn’t have any authors other than Jesus Christ and seems to espouse ideas similar to Denver Snuffer and his movement. Anyways my sister and her husband are quite taken with the movement and I can’t seem to find anything about the book or the folks behind it. Do you know anything about it?

Purports to be direct revelation from Jesus Christ.....therefore.....doesn’t have any authors other than JC. Shouldn’t alarm bells be ringing crazy loud ? No authors? Then I have no time for such nonsense.

He came back, her body was found a year later by hikers. I like to be aware of them, though it is intermittent enough I don't think I qualify as a stalker. 2

Member girl got married to a member guy, they got involved in some offshoot group and she starved to death. They had this big family photo and you weren't allowed to ask what happened to that girl, it was too painful

It also has an alternate subtitle "Our Christ Speaks to Us" And under description the following blurb: The power of Christ's Atonement is broader, deeper and more far-reaching than we can comprehend without a spiritual awakening and desire for a higher way and being filled with Hope and God's infinite Love. Still no idea who Davids and their "All for Zion" group is. There have been numerous fundamentalists and that kind in the Sanpete area (near Fairview).

Who is this "we"? If Christ is the author, shouldn't this be written in the first person, like the D&C?
