Humph!  I thought you'd posted chapter 11 when I saw this :(

Ok.  I'll be patient.

I know what I'm doing tonight. I feel a little guilty for slowing things up, haha. :)

Are you caught up yet?  If not, I hope you don't mind if I go ahead and post the next installment regardless. :)

I'm so sorry, I just started a new job helping my sister in her business. So go ahead and post them!

My originally-gargantuan (:unsure: ) audience and devoted, adoring fan club ( <_< ) has dwindled, alas! :(

Thanks Kenngo for writing and posting this!  I liked it and especially liked feeling as if I got to know you better :)

I won't say more because I don't know if Tacenda has had a chance to read it!

It happens. :)  Let me know when you're done, and I'll post a few discussion questions.  (Not sure how extensive the discussion will be but ... :D)

Go ahead and post the discussion questions. :) I sped read to the end but can go back over again. I absolutely loved the poems at the end. You are quite the writer! Have you ever thought about joining a book writing club? My sister-in-law is and they meet often. And some are able to publish their work, you would do well!

Hmmm.  (We should have a "thinking" emoticon ... ;))  I'll have to see what might be in the area here.  Let me know if you have any ideas.  Discussion questions to follow shortly. Thanks! :)

Don't sell yourself short.  When it comes to writing, people think that there are two kinds of people: Those who can, and those who can't.  They're right about the first part; there are two kinds of people when it comes to writing: Those who do, and those who don't. ;):D

I enjoyed the poems too!!

I should say that as I have matured and my perspective has broadened a bit (becoming, frankly, a bit more complicated) I'm not sure I buy the whole Saturday's Warrior, I'm-here-in-mortality-looking-for-The-One-I-promised-to-marry-in-premortality thing.  I don't want to dilute the impact of my own poetry/prose.  I'm not saying it never happens, but I don't think it always happens.  I think it's more the exception than the rule, but whaddo I know? :unknw: I'm an Eternal Bachelor!  Suffice it to say, it happened in Eric's and Deanna's (albeit fictional) world.

I think President Kimball once said something to the effect that if God were to march all of the men in the world through one door and all of the women in the world through another door and were to pair them up at random, if each member of every pair were committed to having a Celestial marriage, those relationships would endure for eternity.  I realize that throws a cold bucket of water on our notions of romantic love, but if you think about it, that makes sense, at least on one level: How much less pain and heartache would there be in the world if each of us were less concerned about finding The One Who Will Make Us Happy and were, instead, most concerned with making someone else happy ... no matter who it might be? :)
