ttribe Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Well, if there is an utter refusal either to provide the required references or to admit that one cannot do so, I can see where the moderating team might have a problem with that. Bottom line: I don't see anything wrong with fostering a discussion environment that requires some good-faith effort and a degree of rigor to see that expressions are attended by substance, even in a comparatively informal forum such as this. On issues of fact, I wholeheartedly agree. On obvious personal observations and opinions, it's just silly.

When they do, I don't see anything wrong with pointing it out. When challenged, one can simply say, "Well, that's my perception" or "That's my opinion." That typically suffices. But you seem to disapprove of that, as though it were wrong to do so. That strikes me as a tad weird. He may not encourage people to follow him but his website leads people astray and many have left the church due to his website. One of the TR questions is do you sustain the current prophet and leaders. I can tell you Rock did not from my discussions with him. There is a group of saints that follow what Waterman teaches and claim the current leadership of the church is in apostasy and we shouldn't follow them. In fact they have made vile accusations against Pres. Hinckley and Monson and others. My nephew was also exed because he openly taught this and stated it in many arguments we had on FB. Someone copied his remarks and sent them to his stake president who immediately called for a hearing on excommunication. In these last days it is more important than ever that we follow the Prophet. I am surprised it took so long for Rock to be exed. 7

Don't know how they got into the millions. Then I scrolled down the list and saw a ton of familiar names and some not so familiar until I got to mine on page 7. I was just below one I never had heard of and just above Brant Gardner. of course just a few months ago I had like 500, posting pretty infrequently for years. Then one day months ago I caught fire. Anyway, it's been interesting.
