Looking at me oddly and following me around meowing. Not normal for them. Then today I picked up one of the garbage can lids to it back on and noticed it has white paint on it. I looked at the other one and it has white paint brush marks also. My lids did not have paint on them. We have not painted anything. One of the lids I know was dented and could not be straightened. Neither of these lids with the white paint have a dent or show evidence of being dented. I haven't told anyone in the family anything. Just observing for other odd things. I'm not under stress and I do not have any mental health issues.I guess parallel universes/dimensions do exist. I'll keep searching online. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Maybe the cats know I'm not the one they know. I hope the other me makes observations on the other side. Tomorrow I'll casually ask what we painted to have left such marks on the lids. If they say I painted something white...I'll definitely know I've entered the twilight zone. 1

But, my cat was acting really strange yesterday, following me around... he likes to sit right in front of me, rubbing his face on me, etc... so yesterday he was driving me nuts. Then I thought... oh oh... maybe he knows something I don't. Animals can sense things we can't and at my age I always think maybe he senses something about me... like maybe I won't be here... does give me pause at times... Incidentally, welcome HappySeeker, as long as you're here, and particularly if you want to continue here, why don't you tell us a little about yourself... general things like the area you're from, interests, whatever you feel comfortable sharing... from the beautiful central Oregon coast... I live just a couple hundred miles north of you, so we'd both be in the drink. You live too close to the coast to avoid the tsunami, GG, so please keep your car gassed up and ready to roll. I don't know whether the story about Ms. Garcia is real or not -- on the internet you can find almost anything you want, or don't want, and unless you have personal acquaintance there's almost no way to be sure about stories like this. In case the participants in this thread thought that I had been joking about the blood pressure thing, I want to assure everyone that I was not joking. I do genuinely remember the numbers being reported the other way around all my life long up until last year some time. But that is the ONLY thing that is off, to the best of my recollection. Everything else is perfectly normal, and as I remembered it. It's possible that something else might come up, but I won't know until that happens. And I am not going to get all wound about the axle about it all, especially since there seems to be nothing to do about it. Ms Garcia would be well-advised to just "go with it", too. Hello Stargazer...About 3 years ago or a little longer (I lose track of time, it goes so quickly) I was evacuated one night about 11:00+ PM... we had been listening to the news following an earthquake in Japan and the ensuing tsunami that was headed for our west coast. I had everything prepared, including items for Bobby-cat... I was dozing when I heard the sirens and loudspeakers as the fire trucks went through every neighborhood warning people to evacuate... so I threw Bob into his carrier and away I went to a designated safe zone... Slept in the car for several hours until the all-clear had been given. The waves that hit our shore were just a little bigger than some we get during our storms... so no real damage.The joke has always been that when the West Coast drops into the ocean, Utah will be oceanfront property... GG
