To Help Future Proper Use Of Church Funds...

I'm not an accountant and I don't play on on TV but did JCNAF just ask to prove a negative in order to deflect from providing evidence for his accusation that the church may be using general funds to support the City Creek Mall project?

I don't play an accountant on TV but I "are" one in real life. JCNAF shows a penchant to present a little information and show even less understanding of the implications of what he is quoting.

I can show you a reference to it.

But I suspect you wanted to see the actual financial statements of the Church. You can't ask for that as a CFR because no one has claimed that they are available.

Beat me to it.

I doubt he will be satisfied by an independent accounting department unless he is on it himself.

Again... I am asking you to show the source of your accusations toward the Church and its authorities. Will you do it?

Sure. Here's another reference of "accusations toward the Church and it's authorities" It's in this forum actually. See this thread...http://www.mormondialogue.org/topic/57308-was-my-mormon-ancestors-tithing-used-to-build-city-creek-mall/

There's lots of accusations in the thread.

Cite the source that describes what exactly is sufficient, required financial disclosure under FASB.

.

Sure. Here's the reference. http://www.fasb.org/home. This site will tell you "what exactly is sufficient, required financial disclosure under FASB." Search for sufficient financial disclosure.

Any more CFR?

Now that we have gone out of our way to prove a negative perhaps this can be answered...

What evidence do you have that shows the church used fast offering funds on the mall project (as per your quoted implication earlier)?

And said accusations were answered with reason and evidence. You really should read the thread you caused to be closed by spamming it with repeated unfounded accusations.

sigh

Ahhh... so now we're talkin!! I'm a willing to retract if you can show me an actual financial statement (audited) of the Church and we can look at it together and say ahh there it is... The funds were separated! The FO were restricted... blah blah. Until you can show me that audited financial report. You have no basis to request CFR that only detract from the topic but provide AD-HOMINEM AND STRAW-MAN ATTACKS!!

Quote the appropriate paragraph... my search tells me that -- strange for a person who is so concerned with honesty and transparency -- that you have not been honest with us.

No one claimed such a report is available.

Do you not understand how CFR works? Someone makes a claim --- others dispute it --- and ask for a reference. You are then required to produce the reference to support your claim.

That is how it works.

You cannot ask for a reference to something no one has claimed.

In other words you feel free to make up any story about church funds as long as you are not given personal access to the balance sheets.

We are still waiting for you to provide evidence of your story about church charitable funds being funneled into private investments. It is up to you to prove that accusation not let it fester until someone proves to you using records you have no right to see that your accusation isn't true.

What evidence do you have that shows the church used tithes or fast offering funds on the mall project?

Hint: "Prove they didn't" is not an acceptable reference.

Read closely so as to comprehend. the CFR you have to deal with is what evidence do you have that shows the church used fast offering funds on the mall project. This is my last call if you do not provide said evidence or retract I will notify the mods.

i gave you a references that ask for evidence of no adequate disclosure. If that is not sufficient for you then It's not my problems, References are subjective unless we are actually looking together at an audited financial statement of which I still have not been provided as a CFR from you or anyone else. I'm still waiting...

No. You and everyone have said it's been adequately disclosed that tithing funds were NOT used for the Mall. Show me a financial statement (audited) that it was not used for the Mall. CFR please....

You are done.
