Bot Rot

Is anyone else being driven bonkers with this Bot protection.   I am constantly having to identify crosswalks, bikes, busses, bridges.  I can't count how many time I have lost a response post  due a bot check.

Unless I just doing something wrong, this will likely drive me from this forum.  (no clapping)🫵

It loves me, I guess. I haven’t had to do it except for the first few days.  I have to verify I am not a not a robot with a checkmark in the general vicinity of an alleged box (I often can’t see one) if I have not been posting or reading for awhile.  I do still lose posts if I am too long in responding.  Sometimes it’s in the buffer, sometimes I hit submit and it’s like it never existed, but it still doesn’t do the verification until a few more clicks.  That is extremely frustrating.

Do you stay signed in?

I've only had it come up when I first come to the board. Probably every 2nd or 3rd visit.  Once I do it at the beginning of a session it doesn't come up again.

It happens numerous times during the same visit,  and always when I move from thread to thread.  It's really frustrating

That would be so annoying! I probably have to click on the pictures about 2 to 3 times a day, but always just at the beginning when I first get on.

The pictures are especially annoying on the phone where they are so small!

Edit: Well, that's a first! I just clicked submit on this post and the bot box came up.  I thought I would lose the post when it displayed a weird page. I can see even better why you would be frustrated.

I get the bot when I log in. Also, when I have logged in but not viewed anything for some time.

I never log out, so it makes sense it happens on occasion just to doublecheck.  I might start logging out and in if it can guarantee only when I log in..  I am pretty sure I accept cookies from here.

As far as I am aware I accept cookies here and I'm always logged in.  It's rare that I deny cookies and this wouldn't be one of those places. It would only be by accident.

I'm always logged in and accept cookies but it pretty much makes me whenever I visit after being inactive for a short period of time.
