One Nation One Power Church of Christ??

Has anyone heard of this group?!

It seems to be a conglomerate of Black Hebrew Israelites and Natives who have accepted the Book of Mormon. And apparently they are making converts behind the scenes.

I thought I knew all the different groups from my years of wandering. This was quite a surprise.

The Sealed Portion is by Christopher, which makes me think it’s Christopher Nemelka’s work.  Unfortunate if so.

Then there is The Sealed Book of Mormon, published by the United Literary Order of the Last Days, LLC, Joseph Frederick Smith, President.  Sounds like it could be a descendant of Joseph Smith or a relative at least…or someone wanting to seem like one.

Added:  the intro says JS was his great grandfather and JFS has translated from the sealed portion of the original plates.

Oops, misunderstood.  This is JFS saying he saw the plates.  It was Mauricio Berger who did the translations.  We have discussed him before.

This is also unfortunate.

The one who wrote their Precept book claims Blacks are the original natives, they are not from Africa.  Those now seen as American Indians are the result of Dark Skin natives breeding with Pale Skin Europeans.  Making Blacks believe they are from Africa and not native is a plan by the US government.

Black Americans are the same as Egyptians as their land was once one, Pangea.

I'm not sure which "Sealed Portion" they use. In one YouTube video I heard one of the use 1 Achee- which (if my memory serves correct) is in the Sealed Portion of the Brother of Jared" (Ron Livingston) which is from the Brotherhood of Christ people out of Iowa.

But maybe they are using them all? If they are it seems like they are using the texts without following the "translators" or principle groups using them.

I found them about a 1/2 hour before I posted here and was getting ready for bed. I didn't really have time to dig in too deep.

-----

Joseph F. Smith- and others I know personally- got duped by Berger. Joseph and the others are very good, honest, sincere people who were simply eager for something to happen as their movement has stagnated or shrunk. They were easy pickings. Fortunately, almost all have seen the error in Brazil. Hopefully, this will be a wakeup call and maybe, just maybe they'll reconsider the Church.

Be careful of these groups, I sense a Chad Daybell vibe while reading your posts. They are definitely off the path, or not holding on to the golden rod type thing.

I should really be offended at that comment, but I'm not easily offended anymore.

Saying my posts have the "vibe" of a child-mudering, false prophet with crazy ideas about zombie people I guess shows the limits of message boards.

Addendum... I feel like I've been extremely clear about my support for Church leadership.

To be clear:

I posted this topic as I thought it was interesting that a Book of Mormon believing group made up of Black Hebrews and Natives exists- with a few THOUSAND YouTube followers - and I had never heard of it.

Not because I'm giving their claims any credence.

I thought that should've been obvious.🤨

I am sorry, I tend to lump these groups together. I saw the name of Christopher Nemelka and I did judge, sorry. I was not lumping you with them. Here's an old MDDB thread about him. ETA: I saw your post from long ago, about 18 posts down.

That makes 3 versions of the same thing so far either on their website or in a video they made.

I need to reiterate here, when I said, while reading your posts, I mean't on this thread. Again, I never meant to offend, I'd be offended too by what you thought I meant.

It is very interesting, I just had nothing to add. I like unique interpretations of the Book of Mormon, kind of like its influenced by Zachariah Sitchin about Olmec art and displays are disappearing after he published about them, the theory being the Olmec civilization was made of seafaring transoceanic Africans.

I find Sitchin's work fascinating. I don't know if he was too terribly off on the Sumerian translations- I just think his interpretations are wrong, buying into the fallen angels yarn about being our alien ancestor creators that they feed the ancients. Korihor seemed to fall for a similar lie.

But that isn't what she said.  She was describing how the man taught and described himself leading up to the wickedness (or at least up to when we knew about what he was actually doing).

I read some of their “sealed portion of the Book of Mormon”. It was Church folklore about how premortality and the Spirit World and the other Kingdoms work retold in bad Book of Mormon style language. Oh, and bits of the temple teachings mixed in. And the Brother of Jared and Jesus have the same spirit mother. What a twist!

Absolutely nothing.

Even I make mistakes.  Heck the last one was pretty recent, I think, in 2018!

The art historian half of me would love to see some alleged provenance on that alleged "Ethiopian" piece.

The parallels seem far too perfect.

And well you should ask for such….

It’s true, there is an Olmec statue in Ethiopia, in fact, the two statues in this above image are the same one, well one is a replica to be exact (Just one is squashed in the image)! You can see if you look closer.

So, what happened? Wikipedia says:

To commemorate Mexico’s assistance to Ethiopia during its occupation by Italy; Ethiopia named a center square in Addis Ababa “Mexico Square”. In 2010, the Mexican government donated a replica of an Olmec colossal head to Ethiopia where it was placed in Mexico Square.

Terrific! Thanks.

I am glad the authot finally uses the word "replica"; clearly they are not the same piece.

Other alleged similarities I have seen, like the alleged "Ganesha" pieces found in Olmec territory also have other possible explanations as well.

Inuit people in Alaska actually actively look for, and find, mammoth skulls and fragments all the time; I wonder if Olmec peoples might have found such skulls as well.  But what creature would have such a skull?

Clearly such a huge, unfathomable creature must be a god!  ;)
