Is it just me or is anyone else irritated with the church?

I hate to admit it but I find Christians annoying.  I have to go out and witness and maybe stay alone for the past five plus years and you Christians are the most difficult to talk to by far.  People that don't even relate to Christianity are more polite and gracious when it comes to this.  In general I irritate them or annoy them whenever we meet together or they act annoyed and angry about me.

They're the worst, those Christians that do that, the worst.

When you keep telling someone you don’t like being around them, they might not react in the best way…

Have you anything positive to say about Christians that might help them feel more positive?

I'm sure some of us can feel you. Many an LDS online has been talked down to by a hostile 'self-proclaimed' Christian who would say the worst things about us, and the only words of kindness is to issue an ultimatum of either joining them in heaven or rotting in hell with the Latter-day Saints. Only those sort could give hell some appeal, and that if we were to find ourselves in hell, we will turn the devils out of doors and make a heaven of it.

We're all flawed humans (albeit with potential to be like Those we aspire to emulate).  It isn't "the church" fault:  it is there to help us be better.    But we are each responsible for our own happiness and we chose to be happy and think positively, and see the good, even during the most trying of times.

Yea quit being so jealous of everyone...try and be happy when other people's succes.  Why is it my problem when they can't even stand it that I attend they're prayer meetings?  Or get mad when I talk to them about the last days?  Or try to get people to bear some of my burdens?

They can be, I like just having my own connection to my God, and not have any middle people in the way. I think you shouldn't proselyte. But to each their own.

Edit: Going by your words in the bold below from your opening post, I wonder why they are so nice? It may be because they aren't heavy laden with the burden of trying to convince people of their beliefs.

People that don't even relate to Christianity are more polite and gracious when it comes to this

Your not only irritating in person y'all are in private and on message boards.

And I'm getting to where I feel honestly that I don't belong that I need to go to mosque and pray because I'm not welcome in y'all's places of worship.  And you know what...it's ok to go pray with those who are so desperately seeking God.....and I pray that they find him.

Did you see my edited post above? Think about that. And just do you, not worry about others' salvation. People will get a feel for your spirit, if it's in the right place.

Go where you will find peace, whether chapel, mosque, synagogue, forest, mountaintop, beach, in your car or your closet.  Most important is to be able to pray with yourself, a community is important, but is the next step.
