provoman Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 What are your opinions on manually adjusting the AC in buildings? My building has digital thermostats, the RS room and Primary are often warm, I use those rooms during sacrament to listen because the Chapel is too loud for my ears. I usually lower the temperature to make it cooler. 1

In short, I get more out of less uncomfortable meetings. Concert-level volumes might work for rocky evangelical worship but it wasn't a great fit for our sacrament meetings. So go ahead and make it cooler. The sisters will make it warmer when they show up. 😂 Edited May 30, 2022 by bluebell 2

The Nehor Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 I believe you have to have the Priesthood and a current temple recommend in order to be authorized to alter the temperature. 2

I'm in Texas, so if the AC isn't already set to the lowest setting whenever we come into the building, I think you have a moral obligation to adjust it accordingly. 2
