What about authentication? Preventing duplicate scans of the same ballot? Marking a ballot recorded so it is known who cast it, when, and where. It also has to pass those totals on and it is not just whether they picked candidate A or candidate B. There are a lot of races to add up. Also, this was a debunked conspiracy. I believe this one went to the courts and was dismissed for being stupid but I could be confusing it with other stupidity. There was a lot of stupidity. So so far your lies are: 1. A nocturnal emission statement that you said was as lie but is actually true so not a lie. 2. A supposition about Joseph Smith before the facts were in that was just a theory so not a lie. 3. Saying that there are liars due to a debunked conspiracy theory so again, not a lie. 0 for 3. You claim to be sniffing out lies but it seems that that itself is…..……A LIE!!!!!!!!! 1. Please quote me saying some statement on nocturnal emissions was a lie. I don't believe I used the word lie. 2 & 3 Alleged Joseph Smith paternity of sons of women married to other men is a theory, not a lie? .. and saying it's a lie is a lie? Here is a fact. When I was in the MTC back in the early 1980's, one of our language instructors, a Dutch girl, told us that the leading cause of excommunication in the Netherlands was gossip or back biting; that is, telling stories that you do not know to be true as fact. If God considers this a sin worthy of excommunication, how far is it from a lie? Theory? I think not. Edited January 7, 2022 by dougtheavenger

That should bring your gas bill down. Or the government could take over the free market and artificially manipulate world gas prices so your gas bill would go down. Which option would you like Biden to take? I don't think those are the only options. 1

Election officials confirmed it is not a photograph of their database. If it is a different one it has also been debunked. I looked at a lot of these claims and this pretty much sums up how it worked: The reality is that these false claims were inevitable because everyone was poised to claim they found them. The accusations of fraud started before the election even started. The person making the accusations of fraud has asserted that there is fraud in every election and many contests he has participated in. He asserts there is fraud whether he wins or loses because his ego is so fragile that even when he wins he wants people to believe he won by more. He claimed fraud in the primaries including in states he won. Remember when Ted Cruz was cheating in the primaries? Yeah, good times. He claimed fraud in the general election even though he won. He claimed fraud in TV award contests he lost. These assertions of fraud in the general election for some reason also only involve the one race. If someone was doing this level of massive cheating why not win a few down-ballot races? Why is there no deep suspicion of the down-ballot races? *In stage whisper* It is because the GOP won seats in many of the down ballot races. There has been ample opportunity to share the evidence of these claims and no allegations of widespread fraud has been found to be substantiated or credible. Morons continue to announce that they are going to show off all the evidence soon to prove it all but they never do. It is like Second Coming enthusiasts except much more pathetic. 2

And the climate hasn't changed one darn bit. That was going to be my down payment on a new Ford electric truck I guess I'll just keep driving the gas burner.

I am very concerned about some of the laws passed since the last election that seem to position a political advantage to one party that allows for a manipulation of the vote. I also think gerrymandering has gotten so out of control by both parties that it falsely manipulates equal respresentation of the citizens of the United States. Political financing manipulation and lobbying of big interests have also distorted the idea of fair and equal representation. Most of these problems have been around for decades. Since the last election it has only accelerated to dangerous levels. We may very well see democracy fail in this country within our lifetime. That is a thought even a few years ago, I never imagined happening. But here it is. And there seems to be no checks and balances on either party to stop this manipulation on who holds the reigns of power. 2

The Keystone pipeline moves tar sand oil. This stuff is nasty. It is one of the most inefficient form of getting oil when you calculate energy to extract it versus what it can produce. Mining and pumping it is an ongoing environmental disaster. I don’t mean in the sense that it is an unsightly pumping station. I mean what is left is ugly, unusable, and blech. It puts more carbon into the atmosphere than pretty much any other oil once you factor in everything. It is more expensive to refine. Investors are generally pulling out of using it. Alberta is one of the only areas still extracting the stuff. Google pictures of the Alberta tar sands sites. The oil pipeline was designed to move Canadian oil towards the Gulf to use the refineries there. Good for the refineries but most of it is then sent to ports. Having the pipeline up and running would have a negligible impact on gasoline prices. The spill risks are high. Like I said, the stuff is nasty. A spill would be worse than a normal oil spill. The irony is that most of the rest of Canada refused to allow a pipeline to their own ports due to these concerns but the US was like “Sure, why not?” The lost jobs were overplayed. While there were a lot of jobs they were almost all temporary. Add in that this oil would compete to some degree with domestic oil production and it seems like the perfect storm of a bad idea. When environmentalists, investors, national interest, and US oil companies all oppose something and the only people for it are companies in Alberta who are making a huge mess it is probably a bad idea. Shutting down the pipeline was a net good as far as I can find. Here is a good piece that talks about US energy independence and the underlying causes of the recent price spike: https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapier/2021/11/14/is-the-us-energy-independent/?sh=2c21d3913870 1

One guy was so mad at the city he painted the sheer panel purple and black zebra stripes, it set like that off of I-5 freeway in San Juan Capistrano for years. It was a political firestorm domestically in both the USA and Canada. It was an international deal with all that involves and it was always heavily tied into politics. They knew what they were getting into and that elections and shifts would muddle it. The local equivalent to Keystone would be building a dam or a highway or a subway system. Something that impacts a lot of people with different interests. I am not praising the situation as it is but it is the reality. It is also one of the greatest problems democracies have. It is very hard to do long term planning. While saying that you have the permit and nothing should be able to change anything things change. Sometimes pulling the plug on something is objectively the best decision. 1

Voter suppression seems to be the focus of many efforts going on right now. What they are doing in Virginia and Texas with voting restrictions is just obscene. The recent gerrymandering that has taken place in Utah is another good example of politics out of control.
