I'd appreciate understanding what your wards are planning for in-person Christmas events, if any, during this Covid pandemic.

Our ward is having two activities: one is going to be an outdoor event at a park. The plan is to have a bunch of small fires set up and let people hang out in smaller, distanced groups. I believe there will be smores, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa to deliver some sort of treat for the kids.

For those who might not feel comfortable with that there is going to be a second event: a virtual ward talent show, which will be held over zoom. There's already a number of people signed up for that - it should be fun.

My ward in California is doing nothing. The stake is doing a drive-through Primary activity with different stations set up in a church parking lot.

Thanks!

The RS asked 6 families to volunteer to act out 6 scenes from the Nativity.

No parties though.

As a missionary, I once visited a drive-through stations of the cross. Clearly ahead of its time...
