Because I can't be the only one who watched Frozen and thought "Hey, he's just like Elder Bednar!" when Olaf came on the screen...

 

Obviously, they overlooked the easiest matches because they hit a little too close to home.  But at least now I'll think of Troy from High School Musical every time I see Elder Ballard.

I've joked before that the DN has a fetish (or more likely a contractual obligation) to report on Disney at least weekly. Looks like the disease may be spreading. 

If you don't believe me about the DN, just check out the below articles, which are only a few of the ones published in the last few months. I'd hate to be the guy who's job it is to keep coming up with random reasons to make an article about Disney.

And since Disney bought out The Muppets, too, I want to put my vote in for Sam Eagle as a dead-ringer for Elder Oaks.

 

 

 

 

And though Disney has not bought out The D I c k Van Dyke show to my knowledge, I still love the comparison between President Eyring and Mel Cooley.

Well, if Elder Holland can put up an image of a dinosaur chasing children, I think they should be okay with themselves as Disney characters.
