Well...it is...but it's pulled from an earlier English Poem regarding Guy Fawkes, who actually tried to blow up Parliament in the 16th century. The movie touches on it, but tries to present Fawkes as a defender of liberty and individual rights when it actuality he was trying to reinstitute Catholicism as the state religion in England under an Absolute Monarch.
