I heard from a source I do not consider wholly reliable that Bishops had received a letter concerning scouting this wee.  Has anybody any confirmation of this.

Haven't heard anything about it.

Haven't heard anything. We are probably a good two t o three more weeks out from another official church statement concerning scouting.

I think stake presidents would get a heads-up at the same time or prior to a letter to bishops.

Thanks,

"Not wholly reliable"? Is somebody bloviating about this over at the sty?

i'm pretty sure they only respond to ones NOT written in crayon.  ;)

Not all letters written in crayon are dismissed. At least not from the Federal Government. My grandfather wrote in crayon on an IRS tax form in the fifties the following:

"Too poor and too many kids to pay taxes!"

It seemed to work. He didn't hear anything back from them for many years.

"for many years" being the operative phrase here.

Not in my ward. But I'll try to come back here and post something if it hits my inbox this week.

It's funny when the poster who accuses another of writing in crayon forgets to capitalize the first word in the sentence.

Is that the letter that comes bundled with the secret 3 year mission to China letter because my cousin's sister-in-law's roommate got one of those.

No I think it is from the between meeting foyer gossip.

You mean the one that segues into the social relations class held in the foyer during the Sunday School hour?

You wouldn't know that class exists if you were on time to Sunday School. ;)
