What are specific ways in which you have been kind and compassionate toward gays?

I have no problem with gay members attending church. Please come. But just because we welcome them in doesnt mean we are to welcome their lifestyle. And also- we will still continue to teach that homosexuality is an abomination.

I have no problem with the resolute nature of your position and of the precautions you take, but you still haven't commented on openly gay Tom Christofferson holding LDS callings, singing in the choir, and living with his long time boyfriend.  Is this wrong?  What would you say to his brother, Elder D. Todd Christofferson?  Should a Church court be held and Tom excommunicated?  What would you do as his bishop?
