For Latter-day Saints (Mormons), one of the most significant statements/resources around same-sex attraction that has been developed by the Church is the website Mormonsandgays.org. The Church is currently considering updates and/or revisions to the mormonsandgays.org website, and to help assess the usefulness of the current site, they’ve set up a brief survey.

The survey can be accessed via a tab on the right side of the site, or directly at the following link:

We invite each of you to please each of you take 5 minutes to fill out the brief survey, and then to pass this on via personal blogs or other Facebook or email groups you may be a part of that address SSA- or LGBT-oriented issues, particularly in an LDS context, including groups for parents, family members, friends, ecclesiastical/ministry leaders, etc.

It’s reported that the survey will close by this coming Sunday, November 30th.

I took the survey and I'm pleased they are being proactive in updating the site. There's really only 1 spot to leave a free form message so you can make any sugggestions you want to there.

My hope is that they will advertise this site among church members and leaders so that people are aware of the resource. For example, a link to mormonsandgays.org from lds.org homepage would lend it more credibility and greater accessibility.
