This evening, the returns are in. The "Sweden Democrats", Sweden's neo-nazi party, have won 13% of the federal election vote. Roughly 85% of the population have voted. The nine major parties have collected only enough votes to, almost exactly down the middle, split power between the right coalition and the left coalition.. And guess who gets to sit in the middle of the balance, the neo-nazis.

All of you who said that socialism would lead to ruin, were right.

Both left and right coalitions have said they'll have nothing to do with the SD's but time will tell. Me, I'm a pessimist. It can only get worse. The end of times is upon us.

Bring it on. I am tired of the build up.

 

A wise man once said to vote democrat...it's the fastest way to bring about the 2nd coming.

On the bright side think of the cool technological developments that are sure to come from this:

Also, why is this the socialist's fault? Nazis aren't generally socialists. They tend to be social conservatives harking back to a mythical pure past when everything was wonderful usually coupled with intense racism.

It's not about left and right, it's about left and left. People have forgotten that Nazi stands for "National Socialist German Workers' Party".

 

Check out 3 Nephi 7:1-7.  I can't help but think this situation is starting to take hold in various parts of the world.

It's implied in LDS doctrine which is diametrically opposed to Socialism.  This is seen most strongly in the Church's official doctrine on the Law of Consecration which I link to in my siggy.

My son just returned from serving his mission in Sweden. From what he has said, the Swedish idea of "neo-nazi's" is perhaps a little different from our idea. Basically, those who question whether it was wise to let quite so many immigrants into the country are considered a little to the right Genghis Khan. Apparently the Swedish press even branded UKIP as a Nazi party! Goodness knows what they would call an actual bone fide Nazi!

Nothing in Nazi policies had anything to do with socialism, other than it's name. Note that the Swedish local neo-nazis call themselves 'democrats' and have a party and policy that is higly centralized for party program and party control. Here in Sweden the party that got the most votes, the Social Democrats, but only 31% worth, call themselves 'social' and once upon a time were actually socialist in their aims and they are truly democratic.

Labels in politics are many times not a true reflection of what the party has as actual policy. Don't you have the same problem in the US?

Sorry to disillusion but neo-nazis are neo-nazis, no matter how nice they tie ribbons and bows on their package. The party has divided itself into two groups, one political and the other militant. One group seems all nice and fuzzy, but only wants to get rid of all foreigners, to preserve the whiteness of Sweden, or to go back to the Sweden of the 1950's, and the other group sends out gangs in the night that have knifed and terrorized anyone who looks foreign.

I look Swedish enough but my wife and her children don't. Her oldest has been threatened with a knife and robbed, by "skinheads" in military boots (her son didn't engage in any political debate with his attackers)

In other words, it's a political party based on the colour of your skin.
