LJP Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Wow. Denver Snuffer has now left me speechless. I feel very sad that blogger Tim Malone believes Snuffer. I feel especially bad for his wife. Denver seems to me to be the epitome of pride and arrogance.

Despite the fact that Paul made it clear that we are not to allow anyone to take the sacrament unworthily or that Christ told the nephites the Sam. Or that we have been taught in modern revelation to do the same.this false prophet will come to naught just as all other false teachers do 1

Seems like what he said will put any actual followers in the queue for disciplinary action too. But I have to wonder how many were there simply because of the hate threats that got the meeting moved from its original venue. (Apparently along the lines of "if you host it, I won't ever patronize you again" variety.) I might have shown up to protect that right to freely assembly myself. (Yes I know hate speech about a private meeting doesn't implicate the constitution, but it should be pretty plain that hate speech about private groups could as easily be directed at any group we hold dear if we allow it to shut off others with whom we don't agree.) And it was a large crowd on the same day that I-10 was flooded with record rainfall, schools were closed and there was lots of disruption. People see the evil in the world, and are desperate for light and hope. I think they see a man like Snuffer who claims angelic visitation (or Messianic visitation) and are excited by the prospect that miracles are evident. If you hope enough that something is true, it must be true, right? Of course, it sounds, based on Malone's report, that Snuffer discussed several issues popular on the fringes of mormon culture (female priesthood empowerment, universal sacrament, lest any be offended, no three hour block of meetings) that are pleasing to the ears of the disgruntled.

The spirit should tell people, and "by their fruits ye shall know them." Except for Tim Malone. Tim Malone should not rely on the spirit to determine whether or not Denver is legit!! Thanks Lori. I also feel happy. I want to make it clear I believe Denver. More than that , I have heard the voice of The Lord declare unto me what Denver has done was done under the direction of The Lord. I have seen his hand in this over the years. I expect the very act of writing this summary, even though it is a simple act of reporting on the proceedings of the day will be more than my local priesthood leaders will be able to handle. My days as a member of the LDS Church are numbered. ............... This is big news in Mormonism. You'll see the Spirit confirm what the general authorities teach.this movement like many others will come to naught. And this His apostasy is continuing as predicted. He should know better than to try to set himself up in priestcraft.

Denver Snuffer is a casebook example of what defines a false prophet. Tim Malone is a casebook example of what it means to be deceived by a false prophet. Well worth studying, especially in light of the rise of such individuals and agendas, both inside and outside of the church, that are deceiving members of the church.
