Hello seriously...I'm with Calmoriah... I love the snow and to go out and play in it... but, pickens are kind of slim right now... how about building a sand castle? Lots of seashore where I live? What's an alternative where you live? from the beach... GG

JLHPROF Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Does anyone want to build a snowman? You know, just to go and play? I really have the need to and I can't let it go.... I was craving snow yesterday. It's been unpleasantly hot (and surprisingly humid) in Utah lately...the Calgarian in me doesn't like it.
Calm Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Yes, I agree. This former Calgarian is craving Canada.Did you hear about the hailstorm they had a bit ago?
seriously honestly Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 I am from Georgia, we love snow...sitting near a window watching cars run into each other, wondering when it will go away. I'm game I do the same! Of course, it's all fun and games until you have to drive along side the crazies. I think I have a tendency to pray for my own safety more during the winter.

How long have you been in the States?
Sleeper Cell Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Does anyone want to build a snowman? You know, just to go and play? I really have the need to and I can't let it go....That’s the trouble with you and all of you other people on this board. You can’t let go of your gender stereotypes, even when you go out to play.
strappinglad Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) Here's the hail storm from 2 years ago. They are still fixing roofs in Cardston. Edited July 31, 2014 by strappinglad

Calm Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Best hailstorms I've ever been in were in Calgary, though the most memorable one was in Provo when I lived in married student housing and it just hit in the middle of the day. We were barely on our way out for shopping, but turned around because we remembered we had just passed the playground full of kids before it hit and I was concerned someone might have gotten hurt. We found one of our neighbours' kid attempting to burrow himself into the sand. He wasn't old enough to realize that running into the playhouse would give him shelter. He was hysterical. It was so sad. Put him on my lap and we drove him home where his mom was just running out to check on him. No bruises or anything, just had the crap scared out of him. Literally. I went home and changed my clothes. 1
Mola Ram Suda Ram Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Are you one with the wind and snow? Olaf, is that you???
thesometimesaint Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) I deliberately avoid snow and cold weather. But a sand castle works for me. Expected to hit 97 degrees F. here today. Edited July 31, 2014 by thesometimesaint
Tacenda Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman,Once there was a snowman, tall, tall, tall.In the sun he melted, melted, melted. In the sun he melted, small, small, small. https://www.lds.org/music/library/childrens-songbook/once-there-was-a-snowman?lang=eng
seriously honestly Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 That song always made me a little sad. Poor primary snowman :/ 1
Rain Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Sorry. I built a large snowman in my backyard last night and he melted. Since it is predicted to get to 106 degrees today though we could go out and swim in snowmen guts if anyone wants to join me. 1
saemo Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Does anyone want to build a snowman? You know, just to go and play? I really have the need to and I can't let it go....You can build one here. You can even put it on a beach.
VideoGameJunkie Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I have no artistic talent so I could not build a proportional snowman.
77623091143 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 No question is random. They are thought out before presented. Anyone can build a snowman, but build a duct tape man. Now that would be cool dude.
