If it were to be dismissed as frivolous, I don't understand why the Judge didn't/couldn't do so at the end of the day on the 14th. That its been adjourned suggests to me that he wants to present a carefully worded judgement, in case he's appealed and that seems to suggest he's more in favour of allowing the case to continue. Of course, he may just want to check references and be absolutely sure.

Just because we are encouraged to make full use of all the benefits of the Church and to progress as far as possible whilst on the Earth doesn't mean that only those who were baptized, endowed and married in the Temple are in full membership. I am not even married but I consider that I have full membership. My view is that these things are a measure of full activity and committment rather than membership. I suspect you know this. Want to play semantics some more?This person just happens to be GA speaking in GC. I think that puts a little more emphasis on his definition of full membership.I suspect you have been endowed and so to maintain your full membership you must pay a full tithing. If you did, I missed it. That would make it convenient for us to read and evaluate within the context exactly what the General Authority did say. For the record, I agree with Sheila. I was single for much of my adult life. During that time I always hoped and longed for marriage and a family, but never once in that time, did I regard myself has having less-than-full membership, nor was I made to feel that way by anyone in a leadership position over me. Edited to add: In fact, for a good deal of that time, I held the professional position I do now: a writer for the official news publication of the Church. I know that there are levels of worthiness (and one can be disfellowshipped) and so on, but what does being a "full member" mean? Are some saying that you have to be married in the temple? Just wondering....
