I think someone has slipped something into your toothpaste or mouthwash or something else.  I recommend you toss anything you've consumed yesterday and go shopping...in the massively crowded PreChristmas stores.  What a fun way to spend the day!

For a while not long ago I was having similar difficulties... no avatars or emoticons... and the quote function was messed up... I couldn't give rep points, etc.  I was advised to try to clear my cache or delete cookies... all of which was like Greek to me (I'm tech challenged, etc).  But finally it cleared up and has been fine ever since... I don't know what happened, but I think it could be that I have an old computer...

Honestly, I can't believe I never knew the board was for critics to communicate to LDS believers. A forum for that kind of discussion. I'd always thought it was mainly a discussion board with mostly like minded people.

I think it is a place for the unbelievers to poke sticks at the believers through the bars of the cage.

ERayR, I'm not that witty.  I seriously was at one time outside looking in for a long time before joining the board.  I would have never fathomed being a part of it.  When I read posts over two years ago, I thought they were so intelligent and knowledgeable that I'd look silly on here.  And for some reason I don't recall reading anything that was critical of the church, like minded in that way.  Then one day the system wouldn't let me read without signing up.  That was what pushed me forward.  I couldn't stand the thought of not being able to read posts on here.  What was I thinking! 

 

There is nothing like this board, IMO.
