how do you get all that from a domain name?

When you register a doman name, you have to give contact information. Usually, the registrar has a method of hidding your information by putting their phone number and address in it and then putting a forwarding email address that sends all emails to you. But you can disable that. It would appear that his registrar did not offer that (or he disabled it) and so all the contact information that he submitted is available for free. It is a great way to get spam :)

Just go to a whois provider (like http://www.whois.net/) and type in the domain you want. If you do a whois for lds.org, you'll get Intellectual Reserves contact information.

Edited to add: You can also see how old a domain is. In this case, his was registered on October 13, so it is pretty new.

Saw a video on reddit today, followed the link to Youtube. This coward is posting his videos with his commentary on Youtube and all over the internet.

Link removed. Let's not draw more attention to this please.

You are right, only a coward would do this...regardless of the faith. If I know who did it I would do all within my power to see him or her exed. Even if I left the Church, I would not break my promise to not speak of Temple rites. I have a soul.

Honestly, I'd love it if the Temple texts were reproduced in our standard works (along with all the First Vision accounts, the Sermon in the Grove, and King Follett) so that people know what they're getting into when they join the church.

Part of me loves this idea as well, but I adore the set apart nature of the temple which includes having the dialogue we engage in there reserved for that sacred space alone save for when we think back upon it to set ourselves apart a moment of sacred stillness in a mundane world.

Mike Norton is so old news... He has been involved in these sorts of actions for a very, very long time. If I recall correctly, he is no longer a member of the Church.

Probably hosting it for nnn then, assuming nnn was the one who took the video and not just the one who posted it up. Edited by calmoriah

I'm thinking they are one and the same. Searching for both the names together makes me think they are the same person.

If he is not a member anymore according to Mormonmason, how could he get in the temple to film it?

Filming the temple ceremony could have been his last whoo-rah before submitting his resignation letter. we have no way of knowing how old the videos are.

Borrow a friends recommend? He apparently created fake recommends a few years ago. I've found a site that actually states that "ex-Mormon atheist Mike Norton" made the videos.

One of the clips points out Mitt and Ann Romney in the Celestial Room with secret service agents nearby. It is impossible to actually see their faces but if the identification is correct, then it points to this year.

I'd be surprised if they had time to go to the temple during the campaign.

One website i found indicated he randomly called people asking for their recommends.

Just looked at the youtube (i know, i know, we don't want to give him hits) There are no secret service agents and it would be very hard to distinguish the Romneys from any other couple at the temple.

He has been involved with activities like this for a long time. It is pretty standard fare when it comes to people like that. The guy is a liar. We all know the fates of liars who do not repent.

They shall be thrust down, not gently prodded, not politely asked, but thrust down to hell.

People like this borrow other peoples' temple recommends to get in. Several people I have had dealings with in the past have done the same. Some members indeed are stupid and gullible enough to lend their recommends to friends so they can see the ceremonies, too.
