Usually, the registrar has a method of hidding your information by putting their phone number and address in it and then putting a forwarding email address that sends all emails to you. But you can disable that. It would appear that his registrar did not offer that (or he disabled it) and so all the contact information that he submitted is available for free. It is a great way to get spam Just go to a whois provider (like http://www.whois.net/) and type in the domain you want. If you do a whois for lds.org, you'll get Intellectual Reserves contact information.Edited to add: You can also see how old a domain is. Calm Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Honestly, I'd love it if the Temple texts were reproduced in our standard works (along with all the First Vision accounts, the Sermon in the Grove, and King Follett) so that people know what they're getting into when they join the church.Part of me loves this idea as well, but I adore the set apart nature of the temple which includes having the dialogue we engage in there reserved for that sacred space alone save for when we think back upon it to set ourselves apart a moment of sacred stillness in a mundane world. 2

He apparently created fake recommends a few years ago. I've found a site that actually states that "ex-Mormon atheist Mike Norton" made the videos.

It is impossible to actually see their faces but if the identification is correct, then it points to this year.

Several people I have had dealings with in the past have done the same. Some members indeed are stupid and gullible enough to lend their recommends to friends so they can see the ceremonies, too.
