The point where guidance becomes dominion is a tricky one. I experience the same thing with my sons. Teach them correct principles, then pray, beg, sweat, panic, plead, trust, bite your tongue, pray some more, discuss, remind, stomp about angry, and be patient... and they will not depart from them when they are grown. Anybody's guess what we stupid adults will do.But we still have my youngest- and she is a sweet-heart so I am not too worried! 2

In the end she picked out some very nice outfits.PS They look great on her and she is quite beautiful.My daughters found a web site with celebrity ball gown knock offs for cheap. They got them in the mail and then made alterations that protected their modesty without changing the essential glamour of the dresses. I was quite proud of them for their foresight and skills. I still think they should form a company and make modest but glamorous clothing for proms and formals. 2
Calm Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Me too, Cal... but mine are white... starting several years ago I was having problems with my left knee (no cartledge left after years as an athlete) and then I had a knee replacement and continued wearing them... and still do. Only occasionally do I wear "regular" shoes. I always dress nicely in skirts/tops... and my reeboks...My right knee is almost ready for surgery, but since I've been wearing the reeboks it seems to do better.GGI like reeboks because they are one of the few walking/running shoes that don't go for gaudy/flash appearances, just a solid black or white, don't worry about making sure everyone knows what you've got on your feet.
