Zakuska Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 Can somebody tell me why she is called "The Red Queen"?I still post occasionaly over there but my last infraction, where my comment that Catherine descends into "self parody" was labelled an insult, made me think my time is better spent elsewhere.I assume red queen is taken from the character from Alice in Wonderland.Posting at CARM is a complete and utter wadte of my time, so I'm trying to quit going there. It is hard to resist the temptation sometimes though.Correct you are... especially since Catherine envisions her self as the White Queen.

(I never heard how many actually followed through, or whether this was in every case merely empty rhetoric.)If Romney wins the election, would we see an exodus of extreme anti-Mormons from the United States?

(I never heard how many actually followed through, or whether this was in every case merely empty rhetoric.)I think that enragement had more to do with George W. Bush being reelected than anything else. A lot of people upset about the war in Iraq.If Romney wins the election, would we see an exodus of extreme anti-Mormons from the United States?I doubt it.But we would see a lot of people (about half of the country) disapponted with the direction he wants to take the country.

We are simply keeping people aprised of what certian others have to say.Its like one of the quotes that used to be in mi sig line. Where some one had said that "Joseph Smith deserved to be shot."

Does anybody understand what it even means to get a ten point infraction? They apparently accumulate? How many before we are subject to being disciplined? Do you suppose this ten point infraction was taken into consideration when I was suspended later?It means you broke a rule of some sort. If you get three infraction points in 30 days, you get a time-out.

These features are built into the software, which moderators can then use to deal with what they consider to be unacceptable behavior by forum members. "Infractions" accumulate, but the ones that expire don't. It is like the tickets you get on your drivers silence: minor, major, or serious; resulting in "demerit points". They stay on record for two years before expiring (see here for more detail). They have invented a similar procedure for dealing with unacceptable behavior on the forums. Which moderator was it that suspended you? One of the things you can do at CAF is to appeal against the decision of a moderator to the forum admin, if you disagree with the decision. The moderator has to tell you what rule you broke, and where you broke it, so you can appeal against his decision. You can communicate with them by sending an email to the forum admin. Their email address is: forumadmin@catholic.com (or click "Contact Administrator" at the bottom of this page). Don't hold your breath for any fair treatment! But if you think you have been unfairly treated, it is worth giving it a try. They used to publish their appeals procedure on their website; but I can't see it any more. I have found on many sites that when an LDS, through their efforts in any particular thread, is beginning to make too much sense and the anti's are running out of ideas on how to fight the logic being presented, that the "mood" of the thread changes. Not only do the infractions and moderation prevent us from continuing, but the increase in hate is manifested through vile personal attacks, out and out lies, etc. At those times you could cut evil that eminates there with a knife; it becomes that strong.Regards,jo
