The Red Queen Decrees The Lds Church The Kingdom Of The Antichrist

Just wanted to share this tid bit from CARM.

Mormons may cry "foul" when we point out their heresies. They may become maniacal when we challenge the authority of Smith and disclose his real character. Sorry, Mormons, but I for one don't want your blood on my hands! May God lift the blinders from Mormons, and may the creation of Smith be disclosed for what it is - the antichrist invention of the Enemy of Christ.

Apparently Joseph Smith is the Anti-Christ and we are his minions according to the Red queen at least,

lol @ CARM

I got suspended from there again for calling the place a "peanut gallery" (which it obviously is).

I am amazed by what some of the CARMites think qualifies as "evangelism." The worse thing, though, is the horrendous and blatant use of double standards.

Not to mention that I still am accused of being a Mormon just because I don't engage in their utterly useless rhetoric and bigotry.

You're not just accused of being a Mormon, you're accused of being a specific Mormon, namely me. This deception goes all the way back to the beginnings of your blog, comments on my blog from months and months before you ever posted on CARM, and a complex and lengthy personal history apart from my own. All this for the sake of fooling the CARMites.

I was listening to KSL last night at about 11pm and there was a Evangelical Christian ministry on the radio (Can't remember the name) and the Radio Pastor mentioned this very thing.

He told this story:

Mahatma Gandhi and Christianity

by Dibin Samuel

Posted: Thursday, August 14, 2008, 23:50 (IST)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

If not Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the Indian Independence struggle would have taken longer with more blood shed, division and war. When senior leaders of the Hindu political groups urged Gandhi to respond 'violence with violence' and 'sword with sword', he opposed insisting and exhorting the path of non–violence and peace, which was Gandhi's biggest sword to combat the trained and fully equipped forces.

For sure this great man is one of the most respected leaders of modern history, for not only his life, but also his ideals and his message to the people.

Although Hindu, Gandhi had a very close connection with Christianity and admired Jesus very much, often quoting from his favorite 'Sermon on the Mount' chapter in Mathew 5–7.

When the missionary E. Stanley Jones met with Gandhi he asked him, "Mr. Gandhi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?"

Gandhi replied, "Oh, I don't reject Christ. I love Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike Christ."

“If Christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today,” he added.

Gandhi's closeness with Christianity began when he was a young man practicing law in South Africa. Apart from being attached with the Christian faith, he intently studied the Bible and the teachings of Jesus, and was also seriously exploring becoming a Christian, which led him to his discovery of a small church gathering in his locality.

These strongly entrenched Biblical teachings have always acted a panacea to many of India's problems during its freedom struggle.

After deciding to attend the church service in South Africa, he came across a racial barrier, the church barred his way at the door. "Where do you think you're going, kaffir?" an English man asked Gandhi in a belligerent tone.

Gandhi replied, "I'd like to attend worship here."

The church elder snarled at him, "There's no room for kaffirs in this church. Get out of here or I'll have my assistants throw you down the steps."

This infamous incident forced Gandhi to never again consider being a Christian, but rather adopt what he found in Christianity and its founder Jesus Christ

I think CARM is doing more harm to Evangelical Chistianty than good.

I assume CARM gives more latitude to paying members. I don't think there are many Mormons left over there.

Oh the Queen isn't a paying member that I am aware of.

By the way, I've been banned too. Here are my two "infractions":

Dear Daniel O. McClellan,

You have received an infraction at CARM, Christian Discussion Forums.

Original Post:

Here is a shocker for LDS there is no LDS canon you can defend as a Canon

Here is the Problem' date=' For the Christian Church there are well defined tests, For the Mormon Church there is no Test that can be recognized as a consistant test.[/quote']

Please describe in full the well-defined tests for the Christian canon.

Original Post:

So' date=' all you have to do is claim to have "problems" with Matt's premise and then you are free to attack the Bible?[/quote']

1 - I'm not attacking the Bible, I'm criticizing a naive and dogmatic perspective on the Bible

2 - My example about biblical inerrancy was only an illustration of a larger point, which is what I really want to discuss.

3 - I pointed out in detail exactly what my problems with Matt's premise were. It was not just a pretext for attacking anything.

That isn't the way it works' date=' dOmac!

The topic is Mormonism, regardless of your imaginatory problems with Matt's premise.

You really don't need anything at all to shift into your "attack the Bible" contempt, do you?

If you are unable to discuss Mormonism, go away![/quote']

If you and Matt are unable to defend the legitimacy of your premises then maybe you should stop pretending to be defenders of your faith.

All the best,

CARM, Christian Discussion Forums

Matt has still failed to even acknowledge my challenge, too.

They give latitude to Evangelicals, and specifically their particular brand of Evangelical. It's a haven for hyper-sectarian Evangelicals.

Off topic? The EV's are off-topic in those forums half of the time too.

Color me skeptical but I doubt Matt Slick intended on replying to anyone in that thread.

Hahaha, yea apparently you pulled a 2 year long con on CARM by running two blogs stimultaneously all this time. Your ultimate intention? To eventually use your internet alter-ego to join up to CARM and pose as a liberal evangelical.

How nefarious of you Dan!

The adversary has complete control of CARM. After only a few posts there I decided I didn't need to be exposed to the evil that thrives there.

I am not sure I have ever visited this CARM place that some of you all seem obsessed with. Before you take umbrage at my suggestion that you are obsessed, I must confess that I have an obsession of my own. The interesting thing is that the language that is used as quoted by maklelan for getting an infraction at CARM, is the exact wording as I recall getting from Catholic Answers Forum. I particularly recall, "This infraction is worth 10 point(s) and may result in restricted access until it expires. Serious infractions will never expire." Isn't that strange? It can't be coincidental.

I am now suspended and my account is locked for subsequent unacceptable behaviors, so I am unable to communicate with them. Does anybody understand what it even means to get a ten point infraction? They apparently accumulate? How many before we are subject to being disciplined? Do you suppose this ten point infraction was taken into consideration when I was suspended later?

Can somebody tell me why she is called "The Red Queen"?

I still post occasionaly over there but my last infraction, where my comment that Catherine descends into "self parody" was labelled an insult, made me think my time is better spent elsewhere.

I assume red queen is taken from the character from Alice in Wonderland.

Posting at CARM is a complete and utter wadte of my time, so I'm trying to quit going there. It is hard to resist the temptation sometimes though.

Well I do think that C.A.R.M. is fill to the brim with idiots that envy Mormons. Don't forget Children that many forms of Hate are at their nature quite envious. We have beautiful women. We are overall intelligent nice caring people. We are a fast growing yet stable religion. We have more information. We are actually interesting without being making ourselves look like idiots. We have good moral standards. We have a beautifully deep complex religion.

I never said that women outside of Mormon faith were ugly. Well To me, all women have something beautiful about them regardless of religion or race. From my personal experience, I have meet several gorgeous women that are Hindu.

I too find the wording strange. I find it odd that anyone who claims Christianity could say "serious infractions never expire". Seems theologically ill-fitting.

I think all of these criteria apply equally to every religion. Ok, maybe the last criterion doesn't apply to everyone, because some religious streams are thinner than a coat of paint (e.g. IFB churches)

Bingo!!! We are not even allowed to use the same arguments they use. I recall one infraction that was given included verbage wherein we were also not allowed to use any of our belief system as part of a defense to their allegations against us. hahahaha.....

Same here actually. It reminds of my favorite part of playing Civilization II where I have an army full of tanks that attack spear men. And my army shreds theirs like a hot knife through butter. I go back there every once in a while to shred the spear men.
