Something horrible happened, very frightening!

Something awful happened, no one has slept since. Around 11:00 clock on Sunday night it was so horrible, it has kept my wife, my daughter, her five children awake since it  happened, who deal unsafe.. My daughter realized she needed something for breakfast, so she drove about half a mile to the General Dollar store with one of my 17 teenage granddaughter. Thankfully my daughter and my granddaughter followed all  the lessons that  i taught them, based on my 23 year long career in Law Enforcement. Someone with a ski-mask, walked into a Dollar General store, put a handgun in my daughter back, telling store workers the he would kill her unless they gave him all the money. So, as taught her, always practice a screen, so that any of her Children would know, that danger was/to  close to everyone, and extreme danger was close.
 

My granddaughter acted instantly. She make herself very small, allowing her to hide almost anywhere which kept her same from harm, but sadly, not mental, as she did not sleep last night, and still awake balled-up in the corner of her bedroom. I truly hope she finally just falls out onto he bed. My heart is just broken, for what she is having to endure. She called me, wanting to sleep over, telling me “Papa, I would fill so much safer at Nanny’s and Papa’s house. But her Mama wants to keep her very close.

One great thing of comfort, my daughter works for the Police as a 911 Operator, and each one is on fire to hunt these men down, by the stick-up man, and the driver. They are tearing up anyplace to find these men. I would not to be them, at all. I also taught her that no matter what, NEVER GET INTO A CAR WITH A CRIMINAL, NO MATTER IF THEY HAVE A GUN!!! Enough of the story, I  am just asking for the prayer, that everyone who is inclined to do so, to pray for all of my family. The only one who has slept, is me, I nodded of for maybe and hour, until me wife woke me up screaming out my Daughter Sonya Bush, and Addie Kate Bush. I was soaking wet over these nightmares. I am not pleading for my rest, but I do want prayer for them and my dear wife, Pamela. Anyway, may God bless you all. 

I told my granddaughter, if they make bail, “honey, I would set an egg timer for 15 minutes, to give them time to turn them to turn themselves in” my granddaughter says to me “Papa, you are joking right”, I told her “of course I am joking, I wouldn’t set an egg-timer”! 
 

I had to add a little little joke, because this is so an horrific story. Thank you all

 

Oh and I have been up so long, that even wearing glasses, I can barely make out the print, so forgive and errors or repeats. So I hope for a good night,

I hope they recover some sense of safety.  And the men responsible will be caught and prevented from harming others.

That was rough.  I hope they can find ways to help them get through their feelings.

.... ..Why rob a General Dollar store? Maybe it's not the money but because they thought it was easy?

What a terrifying experience! Your family is blessed to have your wisdom and support.

They will be caught, my sanity needs it. And, if they make bail, pain will be ion their near future. One showed distinctive tattoo. So if the City of Atlanta base. Countless friends from still serving as Police Officers (and my 3 years will make it their worst nightmares come through. In short, you can put a gun in my back, however if you do it to thoseI love, H**l will train down from the heavens. I am still barely sleeping.

We do have have papa bear and mama bears come out big time when our children and grandchildren are harmed. Glad they are physically well, but the mental part is probably what is so frustrating now. Maybe a Priesthood blessing would help.
