Scott Lloyd Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) More than once there have been those who have complained that I never have anything negative to say about the Church (as though that were a shortcoming). OK, I’ll throw them a bone: In this morning’s general conference session, the Tabernacle Choir performed that time-honored anthem, “Let the Mountains Shout for Joy.” But they made some changes in the arrangement. I don’t like them. I loved the song the way it was before, and although the new arrangement is not unpleasant, it does not improve on the old, which I loved. Edited October 3, 2021 by Scott Lloyd 1
JLHPROF Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) 😆 not quite the same thing. But good try. A for effort. Edited October 3, 2021 by JLHPROF 3
Duncan Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 There was a song they sang yestarday and they slowed it down and it reminded me of that Simpsons episode where it took like 20 minutes to sing the national anthem. Like, get on with it already! 2

It all starts with complaining about a Tabernacle Choir arrangement in conference. Next thing you know, you're sipping on a pumpkin spice latte at a Starbucks... The slope is quite slippery from here. Edited October 4, 2021 by pogi 7

For sure, you're on the high road to apostasy now!
