Replacing BSA in 2020

Scouts closing most camps in Puget Sound area, partially due to loss of LDS units....Hahobas was our camp...spent a lot of time there with my sons, family, and our ward troop, did Woodbadge there, directed Council Webelos camp for two summers....sad day.

They had a loss of units? Already?  I could see next year closing them down, but I thought we were all in for another year with the deacons.

The article mentions the loss of older groups and the impending loss of the younger. They have to look ahead to future membership trends and impacts on future budgets. Anecdotally, many LDS units I know are doing their own activities and not using the Council events

Sorry to hear that you are losing your home camp. I understand what it means to have such connections to a place. For me, it is Camp Belzer in Indianapolis. Spent a lot of time there.
