I find it to be very relevant for our day when people get worked up over really stupid things. But is there a definitive source for this quote? 2

I have read that a truly humble person is nearly impossible to embarrass..... or offend.... but then again Messiah Yeshua - Jesus was kind of offended by the money traders in the temple area?
Prof Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 I like the quote as well. I did a quick search. Everything I see says that it attributed to Young, but no one provides a real source or reference.

thatjimguy Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 It sounds good, but I've heard that said by people who are pretty abrasive and lacking the social knowledge that they are, indeed, coming across as a jerk. And why would they change if they follow this quote? It's always the other person, not them right? 1

That quote is meant to help those who struggle with feeling offended over something. It's not meant to be used to justify being offensive. 3
