The end of last year my wife and I moved to Minnesota to try to make a better life. The cost of living is better and I was barely making any money at my previous job. I'm trained as an attorney but I've never been making my full earning potential. But I'm not licensed to practice law in MN. They won't hire me without a license. After working hard to get everything I've needed for the application requirements, we only have the filing fee left. And the jobs I can get hired for without my license are ironically jobs that don't pay enough even here.We've been cutting expenses. I've even been looking for a second and third job to make ends meet. So the last week or so I've been inspired to reach out to friends and family for support. So I've set up a gofundme campaign. I figure if people can use them to raise money for computers and other personal luxuries, I can use it to try to get my family in a position where we can support ourselves. Also, one idea that might work for your family is if you guys know anyone who sells melaleuca, jamberry, pampered chef, mary kay kind of stuff you should see if they can do a fundraiser for you. Every company does fundraisers a little differently but i know a lot of people who do this. They hold a party and a percentage of the funds get donated to whatever cause. It can really be a great way to raise money, especially if you're not trying to raise a ton.

It was completely unexpected and I truly am humbled and amazed at the mercy and generosity being extended to my family.
