Moving Forward With Constant Revelation?

I don't believe He restricted them from eating at one time, but then later

it was His will for them to do so.

So the diet restrictions given to the Jews not to eat pork and such are still in effect for all?

The temptations were nearly the same. Eve was tempted and succumb. Adam chose to stay with Eve.  The response to those temptations is what was different.

The church has made it clear that she made a difficult, conscious decision based an basic understanding of its necessity.  It was not a sin, but a transgression.  I cannot give detailed reference, but active members of the church are familiar with the source.

In both cases, "thy will be done" was the basis of the decision..

I said, "LDS can add..."

What does your question have to do with your suggestion that current LDS revelation might less "major" than Mr. Price's?

The I'll be happy to entertain your question once you explain -- in the context of the six days of Creation, the one day of Rest, the temporal conditions (or otherwise, and you might want to describe them) within the Garden of Eden, the immortal nature of Adam and Eve (or otherwise and you might want to describe that also) in relation to their choices -- what you mean by "time" and what do you believe happened to the command not to partake of the forbidden fruit after the Fall, and to the forbidden fruit.

I did not mean that what Mr. Price said was more or less relevant than what the LDS teach.

Just that I had never seen a teaching comparing how Jesus fared in his temptation and how

Eve did.

I'm a little confused by your question.  Can you rephrase? Maybe break up your statement

into multiple themes. We may end up starting a new topic with a more relevant title (like

"The Temptation of Jesus and Eve Compared").

Thanks,

Jim
