Calm Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Incredibly, as the graves were being dug, mounds of red potatoes were found just inches under the prarie soil. I am so glad you went this way with it, I was expecting something somewhat more gory....seeing too many commercials of zombie games lately I guess.

inquiringmind Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 I would have deleted the whole thread if I could have. The question concerned something James E. Talmage said about a group of Mormons who were excommunicated in 1921 (for sharing their wives in what they considered acts of sacrifice.) Talmage basically said that they should have known that that were violating their Temple vows, and when I found the words to the sealing ceremony online, and read them, that seemed to answer my question (and the question I was trying to ask on another, now closed thread.)West Tintic branch near Eureka, Utah.

De Groote Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 In other words, they're trying to say, "Church records offer no clear insights into the origins of this tradition." But everyone knows it was BY that started it. Of course Brigham Young started it. Nothing was cooked up in Utah without his knowledge. 2

I don't buy it. It's too simple. I still think you are an evil clown bent on destroying this board to frighten children everywhere. You deleted the content when you unleashed something you were unable to control. 1

Next time? 1
Kenngo1969 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Hey! That's exactly what my regular laugh sounds like! I don't know what's supposed to be so creepy about it! Sheesh, you really know how to rip a guy to shreds!

Kenngo1969 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Im so confused!?!?!?Don't worry, Val. It'll pass. Of course, it comes in waves, so don't get too used to the feeling of momentary clarity you have after it passes!
