Ahab Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Perhaps this is evidence that labels are worthless. The worthless labels I have attributed to myself are:MormonGayChristianPluralistCommunistLDSRepublican (a very long time ago...then I had an exorcism)HumanistEpiscopalianEssentially, not one of those labels is relevant. The only label I should be concerned with is:I am me.Kinda like what God meant when Moses asked him what he should call him, huh. 1

Mola Ram Suda Ram Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) Um...no. I'm part of the CPUSA because there are more ideals that I agree with. My being a communist is not synonymous with being a Leninist. My views and reflections don't fold neatly into a box. I got into an argument with an anti-Mormon who told me what I have to believe in order to rightfully call myself a Mormon. Such arrogance and audacity!!Ok what ever floats your boat dude. I agree with MF.If you disagree with the central tenets of an organization, why be a member of it?It is as bad as saying I am a Mormon but I reject JS and the BoM and the priesthood authority.I mean you could always be a mormon just for the sake of the cultural and familial aspects of the religion. But I am not seeing that benefit in teh CPUSA.Form your own group. The CPUSA is not a good group to be associated with anyway. Be the independant. Get people involved in your cause. Call it a Consecrationalist. Or the Consecrationalist Party. Heck I would even join that, hehe, which I have already. Edited May 17, 2013 by Mola Ram Suda Ram

thesometimesaint Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Sounds like a man who is contemplating suicide. No need to go on?!? Get a grip, man!!! It's not that big of a deal!I sure hope that isn't what he meant.
