Calm Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I was wondering...and you get a rep point for receiving enlightenment.
Calm Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 ah! so the contributors can breed sycophants at five times the rate of us mere mortals! I KNEW it!!!But are not those who give reps the sycophants? So we just enslave ourselves that much deeper?
Nemesis Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Got some ink in your hair lately?More like gum!
Calm Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 More like gum! That's what you get for hanging out in a grade six class at skool.
Ahab Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 But are not those who give reps the sycophants? So we just enslave ourselves that much deeper?Wow, that means you've got a lot of people "enslaved" to you, then.Let the people go free!!! Release the sycophants!!!
Calm Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Wow, that means you've got a lot of people "enslaved" to you, then.Let the people go free!!! Release the sycophants!!!Never!!! They are mine! 2
Maidservant Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Ha ha ha ha ha! I thought these would be the best way to get my meaning across . . .(Also found out there is a limit to emoticons!) 1

Kenngo1969 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I think that as long as we can decide on a hierarchy we can recognise multiple networks of sycophants. So, for example, Jeremy can be my sycophant, and we both can be Calmoriah's sycophants, too.Oh, goody! So, it's like multilevel marketing! 1
Scott Lloyd Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Oh, goody! So, it's like multilevel marketing! Kenngo, you've singlehandedly resurrected my sycophant thread of more than a year ago! ETA: And in the process preserved the memory of wayfarer. (What ever happened to him?) They are mine! You need to be even more emphatic about that, Cal. Here, allow me to demonstrate: Release the sycophants?! Release them, you say?!! Neverrrrrrrrr! They are mine, mine, all mine!!!!!!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Cue thunder!!!!!!!!] P.S.: I mean, why have omnipotence, if you're not gonna flaunt it?! (You're welcome. Glad I could help! ) Edited March 31, 2014 by Kenngo1969 1

(What ever happened to him?)You think I care about a little, insignificant thing such as a thread's origination date? Nah! Oldies are goodies, in my book! As for the whole resurrection thingy, I'm just practicing for godhood, thank you very much! ) 2
Mola Ram Suda Ram Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Did this thread get new life because of SH's recent thread? Edited March 31, 2014 by Mola Ram Suda Ram
Scott Lloyd Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Did this thread get new life because of SH's recent thread?Sort of. In a post on that thread, somebody alluded to the goings-on here back in early 2013. I'm wondering now if this thread will be like Chubby Checker's recording of "The Twist." It was number one on the charts in 1960 but returned again to the number one spot in 1962, when it became an even bigger hit. 1
BookofMormonLuvr Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 To answer the question of the title...If you'll be my bodyguard, I will be your sycophant.
Calm Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Being top sychophantish gatherer/giver may I borrow this thread for just a wee bit of a rebuttal to a locked one, my apologies to all…it is just a statement and needs no rebuttal from anyone else. From Truth 101: fairmormon.org pretends to be neutral but is biased for mormon. No, we do not. In fact, our logo should make it very, very clear: "Critical questions, faithful answers". I don't know if we still have the disclaimer since the board upgrade, but we make it very, very clear we are supportive of the Church and operating from a faithful perspective. There is no attempt to portray ourselves as neutral. If someone is somewhere doing so on behalf of us, please tell them to stop.

Calm Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) If so, I will just leave this for lurkers who might be confused by his claim. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know why I am so unaware today, luckily a friend sent me the link though it is right there where it has always been at the bottom of the page "about FairMormon": http://www.fairmormon.org/about-fairmormon Just curious…does this convey to anyone we think of ourselves as neutral?
