ERayR Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Did I hear him right they are starting a new online apologetic journal? 1
ERayR Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 http://www.mormoninterpreter.com/Ah I thought so. I had an interruption about this time . Thanks.
Kerry A. Shirts Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Herr Bokovoy is a GREAT way to kick it off! 2
Evangeline Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) Awesome! By the way, the design looks very attractive. Edited August 4, 2012 by Evangeline
mfbukowski Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 It looks great.Does anyone know if SMPT still exists?I sent them a check a couple of months ago and they still have not signed me up. I got back an email saying they would but no results even with me sending them another email. Was that tied in somehow with the Maxwell Institute?

mfbukowski Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 No this is not tied to MI and is available as a free download with printed copies available for printing cost upon request. Not so. You have to send them 30 bucks and they have to send you a password- someone named Benjamin Huff is supposed to be the secretary but he is unresponsive. It also appears that smpt.org is no longer a working website. Maybe I am doing something wrong- ?
Deborah Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I was there. To all those who assume that Br. Peterson knows the full story behind what happened, he doesn't.
Glenn101 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I was there. To all those who assume that Br. Peterson knows the full story behind what happened, he doesn't.Not sure what you are referring to. Does it have anything to do with the OP? Or the MI changes? Thanks,Glenn
TAO Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) Cool! I'm glad Dan's going to be able to still write... now that the MI might be going downhill =/. Edited August 4, 2012 by TAO

Maybe I am doing something wrong- ?Are you referring to the new on-line journal? I accessed it free, no problem. And I was at the conference and heard Dan say it is free.I shot a picture ofDan holding up the covers of th new journal. I'd post it here but it belongs to the Deseret News. Popular Post Bryce Haymond Posted August 4, 2012 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2012 The new Interpreter journal is online, working, and is 100% free in 6 formats, and 9 subscription (feed) options. The print-on-demand format, for professionally printed and bound hard copies, costs a minimal amount that covers cost only.http://www.MormonInterpreter.comInterpreter does have operational costs, however, so it is accepting donations:http://www.mormoninterpreter.com/donations/For some background on Interpreter, I've written this up:http://www.templestudy.com/2012/08/03/farms-interpreter-journal-mormon-scripture/ 5
Duncan Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 It's late; what does SMPT stand for?Southern Maine Physical TherapyORit might also stand for Society for Mormon Philosophy and Theology
jwhitlock Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Southern Maine Physical TherapyORit might also stand for Society for Mormon Philosophy and TheologyWhy would someone send money to Maine?
volgadon Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Why would someone send money to Maine?Because the smoke from burning money gets their allergies going.
volgadon Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Kudos on the design, not to mention Bokovoy's article. One thing I've not seen was any information on submissions. Is that something not being pushed yet?
mfbukowski Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 It's late; what does SMPT stand for?Sorry. Society for Mormon Philosophy and Theology- publishers of the journal Element
