I hve been baned from one Mormon forum for proving them wrong through the Bible, Are you going to ban me because you know I will prove you wrong?? Or are you going to try and prove you are right. I am up for the challange, ARE YOU. Or are you afraid the Bible doesn't suport your doctrines.

You weren't banned for proving anybody wrong. It would be my guess it wass for your ill-mannered rudeness.

Ah, gees!! He didn't even get a chance to translate 1 Peter 3:18~21. I mean, he knows everything about the Greek, and it was only three days that he'd been telling us we didn't know what the Bible said in Greek. So he barely had any chance at all to address the passage.

Oh, well. We can only guess that he's now bragging somewhere about how he proved to us something or other. But it was not that he speaks koiné Greek. (And it's all your fault, doncha know?)

Lehi

P.S.: Oh, lest anyone fail to grasp it: this was sarcasm. LS

What separates the shepp ang the goats, is, The sheep are living for God and will go to heaven, and the goats aren't doing God's will and are going to hell.

Yes, you are correct. THe sheep were doing things the goats were not. Hence you could say that the sheep were doing works and teh goats were not. Notice how then that the sheep were saved by their works. There is no talk of faith in this parable.

I realize you have been banned (as it should have been many posts ago) but I do not want your erroneous accusations to go unchallenged. I will answer you line upon line...

I think you better go and read the Bible, And stop showing your ignorance of it.

[1] Water baptism isn't as vital as the baptism in the Holy Ghost WHO EVER TOLD YOU THAT.

First God did, through revelation. You totally ignore the scripture I quoted and pretend you know the Bible, and try to foist your "private interpretations" on us as if you have some sort of authority to declare doctrine. You arn't arguing with some teenage kid who has to read a watered down version of the Bible to get interpretations from so-called modern scholars who dilute the meanings to suit their modern concepts. It is your privledge to believe whatever you like, but don't call me ignorant when you do not even have one scrap of modern revelation. You who must depend on the words of dead prophets who lived over two thousand years ago for any light you may have and deny the power of God and reject the words of Christ given to His living prophets and apostles to confound false doctrine and teach the truth in purity.
[2]You don't need to be baptised in water to be baptised in the Holy Ghost, WHOEVER TOLD YOU THAT.
Do you have evidence in the Bible of anyone who was baptised in the Holy Ghost who was not Baptized in water just as Jesus Christ himself was? Why do you think He was baptized? Was it part of he Law of Moses? Was it part of the Gospel? If it was a part of the Gospel then why would it be done away with? Why would it be performed if it was not vital?
[3]I never said the Disciples didn't baptise people.
You said it was not vital and that Peter and Paul did not baptize, I said that is not so, you also said that throughout the thread. Yet you have no evidence save your word only. WHO TOLD YOU?
[4The old testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testamen was written in Greek, I have both Heb And Gk key stiuy Bibles with the original Bible texts and meanings, You would say the interpretation of the Greek is wrong if it disagrees with your doctrine.[5]I can prove from the Bible that water baptism doesn't save, I have already said that the Greek proves it doesn't save.
Spoken like a true "scribe" as the scripture says:
(Mark 7:6-9) "He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."
If you put your trust in the arm of flesh (as in the interpretations of scholars) instead of the witness of prophets and apostles and the revelations of Jesus Christ through the Holy Ghost, then you will be truly lost.
[5] The book of mormon will never replace the Bible and God divine order of Minister & Ministries and their authority, If the book of mormon doesn't agree with what God has said in the Bible, Then it is wrong.
It is rather pathetic for you to think the Book of Mormon replaces the Bible, because anyone who knows anything about the Church knows that we study all the scriptures but we do not seal the heavens and claim that God cannot or will not reveal more to those who have faith enough to recieve it. Let me give you a departing thought from this book you disdain so much:
(2 Nephi 29:3-14) "And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible. But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles? O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people. Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews? Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth? Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also. And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever. Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written. For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written. For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it. And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews. And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever."
So if you want to know who told me these things JESUS CHRIST.

STOP TELLING LIES and believe what the Bible says, OH I forgot, You can't believe what the Bible says, You know if you do, It will prove your doctrine wrong.

Naa naa nee naa naa.

You are arguing like a two year old. Yes it is! No it isn't! Yes it is!

If you display just a little intelligence, it will get you much farther. You avoid every issue because you have no answers.

You know nothing about the Bible's origins, you show the intelligence of a parrot. A parrot can do what you do. It does not reflect well on the Evangelical community, which I know, no thanks to you, contains many intelligent people who can speak clearly about these things without parroting things over and over.

I always hear LDS talking about having the true gospel and the full gospel. what then is the gospel? please explain.

The Gospel is that Christ fulfilled the will of the Father in every particular for our redemption. This means He atoned for our sins and established the universal resurrection.

The fullness of the Gospel is immortality, eternal life and exaltation; in other words, the aim of Christ fulfilling the Father's will for those who fully accept it.

When LDS say we have the fullness of the Gospel, it means we have the all means necessary to fulfill the Father's will in His children through Christ, and thus realize this aim. Nothing is lacking in this regard.

So the pot is calling the kettle black. Interesting.

Except in this case, you are no kettle.

I knew urroner was smarter than he looked. His 'dead parrot' analogy is definitely multilayered and full of subtle nuances as demonstrated by your usage of it here.
