I hope you take this with the gentle humor it is intended to have.

Paul Ray: If you see a Reese's, but the scriptures tell you it isn't there, follow the scriptures because it definitely isn't there.

smac97: If a Mormon eats a Reese's in the woods and no one hears it, will Evangelicals still complain that Mormons aren't Christian?

johnny: The scriptures teach us the proper way to eat a Reese's: The Catholic catechism explains that ...

Doctor Steuss: I ate a Reese's once. Wait, maybe I was hallucinating.

Pahoran: You're not even good enough to lick the wrapper of the Reese's Joseph Smith ate, and yet you dare to criticize him!

wenglund: People with "Reese's Consumption Disorder" just need to learn to deal with things more positively. Perhaps some cognitive behavioral therapy might help.

consiglieri: Reese's are round; the Liahona was round. Can you say bullseye?

cinepro: There are so many ways to eat a Reese's that it's pretty presumptuous to say that yours is the right way.

John W: Can't we just eat our Reese's how we want in a kind and civil way? Stop questioning my motives!

Lamanite: I have a lot of questions about how to eat them, but I don't really know, so I'll just keep asking. Big UP!

Chris Smith: The ink on the wrapper is definitely the same color, and the overlap indicates that the wrapper isn't the one that contained the Reese's.

Juliann: This is just another example of the "angry Reesie" narrative. Don't these people know we can see right through them?

Daniel Peterson: I'd tell you how to eat a Reese's if I weren't such a despicable, nefarious, gap-toothed slimeball.

Tsuzuki: Why limit yourself just to Reese's? Try a little chocolate piracy: a little Reese's, some Twix, maybe a Baby Ruth ...

Brant Gardner: We have to be cautious in assuming that when the text refers to a Reese's, it isn't actually referring to something else.

Well done John W!

[i'm also secretly glad that I'm new enough to have avoided showing up on that list.]

I'm a bit disappointed I wasn't included. But not enough to keep me from being highly entertained. Good job. :P

Laughed out loud on this...

We had a Reese's thread a couple of years ago IIRC. It was hilarious especially when they got into images.

I'll have to find it.

add-on: Here it is-- http://www.mormonapologetics.org/index.php...t=0&start=0

See post 112 for true enlightenment.

There is nothing there in post 112, but a number of remarks about it...what did it say?

There was a picture of JS and his First Reese's Vision; at least the picture was there a few minutes ago when I looked at it.

I had forgotten about that thread, Cal (thank you for linking it). I re-read some of them. That thread combined with John's provided some much needed merriment to my day.

Let's see if it will open up here: reesesvisionnn9.jpg

I should probably not post it as I reviewed the thread and apparently someone felt it was inappropriate (the mods asked that pictures LDS considered sacred not be played with, but I was thinking they limited that to the facsimiles). My apologies if this goes against the mods' request, please feel free to remove it. If someone is offended personally, please PM me and I will remove it myself as soon as I see the request.

I love these types of threads. :P They make me want to eat Reeses.

Agreed...I just had to go "steal" one from my assistant's desk; she always has copious amounts of candy on her desk!

Captain Jack: Methinks I'll be a partakin' O your Reese's, Arrghhh....where's me rum.

LOaP: Could you just drop that Reese's in the translucent cup....I can't get out of it you see.

edit add:

BCSpace: There is no official doctrine in regards to how to eat a Reese's....your thoughts on the matter are speculative.

Tanyan: Here is a link on how LDS eat Reese's http://www.mormonapologetics.org/index.php?showuser=8141

Bond.....James Bond: Reese's exist only in your mind

ERMD: I once had to pull a frozen Reese's out of a guys jugular vein....it was a freak accident.

JAdams: I know you think you have eaten a a really good Reese's, but you really don't know just how much your missing...you need to eat one of my Reese's

Edit add...again..

Mudcat: I think we should focus on what our Reese's have in common. To talk about the differences takes away from how good they taste.

Bluebell: Surely we can agree, that you can now see why should eat Reese's this way. :P

Scott Lloyd: I donâ??t want to give too much away, but if you are really interested in learning about Reeseâ??s you should probably check out next monthâ??s Church News.

David Bokovoy: As outlined in the Old Testament, the fundamental biblical symbol for the way in which the universe and man are governed is best characterized by the notion of a council of Reeseâ??s.

Bill Hamblin: Thereâ??s no archeological evidence for Solomonâ??s Reeseâ??s, which you would know if you had read my book Solomon's Reeseâ??s: Myth and History (shameless self-promotion learned from Dan).

And just for our most recently banned memberâ?¦

Paul Ray: If you see a Reese's, but the scriptures tell you it isn't there, follow the scriptures because it definitely isn't there.

I can accept that as long as the reason it's not in the scriptures is because the scriptures simply haven't been updated to contain that new revelation.

Scriptures are written as men who are inspired by the Holy Ghost write what they have seen and/or (generally) witnessed, you know. Until then, those thoughts which will eventually become scripture are still in God's mind and anyone else who has witnessed those things just waiting for somebody God inspires and/or a witness to write down what they have witnessed.

And btw, I'm honored that my name (or one of my names) came up at the top of your list.
