Popular Post rodheadlee Posted February 25 Popular Post Posted February 25 Dad is in the hospital recovering from pneumonia. It's too soon to lose him, he is only 92 .I'll be ok but his caregivers need him for awhile yet so they can get their feet under them. Finances are really tight. I'm working to pay my bills and some of his too. 3 more months and his truck is paid for. Then things will get easier. I'm having some prostate troubles myself. I get a CT scan Monday. So far the biggest bump is benign but a little teany dot is malignant. They sent my stuff off for a special study. Thanks in advance. 6
Pyreaux Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Certainly, and I pray I'll make it to 92. Thought I guess that may have slightly more to do with how good and willing my AI doctor will be at that time. 2

I've heard they have robotic surgery now for the prostate. I'm really pleased with the medical service they have in the Torrance-San Pedro area of California. We actually call that the South Bay Area I don't really know why but anyways there you have it. 1

Popular Post rodheadlee Posted February 27 Author Popular Post Posted February 27 Dad made it through pneumonia and is now at rehab to get physically well after laying in bed for a few weeks. His lucidity will return as his strength returns. Keep praying please. 7
rodheadlee Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 2 days ago he was doing great now he had a relapse with the pneumonia. Thanks for your prayers I hope he makes it for another year or two. Mostly for the sake of the caregivers. They really have no place to go when they leave here. 3
rodheadlee Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 I had to make the call tonight to turn the machines off. They'll do it tomorrow while Patti holds his hand. I suspect he's not really there right now anyways. Thank you all for your prayers. This would be really tough if I didn't believe in Jesus Christ and that he died to save us from Eternal death. I truly believe he will be with Mom tomorrow and we will see them again when it's our turn to pass through to the next life. Thanks again. 3
