  1. I can definitely see from a gay persons point of view how being told that in the next life we will be cool with things that make us sick in this life would be upsetting.
  2. Hi, my name is Mustardseed. I experience miracles on the regular.
  3. Makes sense. Can’t get with it but I accept your POV.
  4. It’s easier for me to believe that things were different when Christ was among us. this particular story seems really, well, to use a crude word, weird. ETA oh haha bluebell said weird first so I’m good lol
  5. I admit I do it. In small circles mostly.
  6. Ooof. I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ but I can’t get with the idea of three nephites.
  7. It’s difficult for me to accept the literalness of the existence of three immortals. I don’t say this to argue, but rather just in case anyone else isn’t comfortable stating so and might feel better knowing that other card carrying members aren’t all in on this one.
  8. I have to repent repeatedly - and often repeatedly for the same things over and again. I guess I could stop repenting if that’s a problem 🙃
  9. When I die, we’re gonna have a celebration and I’m gonna make sure my kids know I died loving them exactly as they are. I’m serious about that. They’re gonna know that because that’s how live, and it doesn’t need to be mentioned at the memorial. We have a family reunion coming up in a month, and I absolutely cannot wait. Even more opportunities to share with each other, and love, and play, and WORK, and solidify relationships. IMO the savior is pleased. My kids know of my faith. It’s evidenced in my life. I don’t need to passive aggressively create opportunities to remind them of what they already know. That would be insulting in my mind and would create distance. I have no doubt. The kids know I go to God with my gratitude and understanding. Nobody’s story is over, not even mine.
  10. Perhaps the Lord is more “progressive” than zealous conservatives want to know. Who knows. Certainly none of us do. We are just accountable to ourselves anyway.
