That's impossible to know without having more information on what Brigham Young meant.  We will know when we meet God.

Is this a direct Nibley quote, or him quoting another source? I can’t help but wonder if this is one of many kernels that serve as a source for the Daybell, and even Gileadi, schools of thought for moving through stations and multiple probations.

Where do you get multiple probations from the above?  The Father is not mortal when he appoints Jehovahs for the new worlds nor is there any indication that the Jehovahs so appointed have lived a previous mortal existence.  (Serious question, not a challenge, I like to understand why people interpret comments differently than I do)

I personally don’t get multiple probations from the quote, but I’ve read enough, here and there, to know that there are those who might. I reject the notion, but am intrigued by how others connect the dots.
 

Gileadi writes about the seven spiritual levels of humanity: Perdition, Babylon, Jacob/Israel, Zion/Jerusalem, Sons/Servants, and Jehovah God of Israel. He postulates that we need to go through these levels ourselves.
 

Some have interpreted this to suggest we can’t achieve the higher levels in one “probation”. In this vein, they believe those who receive all the Father has must fill those roles individually. IOW, we must each literally fill the roles of Adam/Eve, then the third member of the Godhead (the Holy Ghost), and then progress to a savior role before advancing to a Father. I’m not suggesting Gileadi believes in multiple probations; I have no idea what he believes in this regard.

 

Robert’s quote, along with Gapper’s comment about Elder Pinnegar, were the impetus for my question. I am in no way suggesting Elder Pinnegar was alluding to this notion, it’s just where my mind went.
