I served the early part of my mission in some remote locations in Alabama before being transferred to Atlanta for the rest of my mission. I found the people there to be very nice and friendly to the missionaries for the most part. It's sad to see something like this happen, but I'm glad the Elder is recovering and he and his family seems to be handling the whole thing very well. 1 Link to comment

None of the articles or reports are sharing any details besides shooting and arrests. Could be brothers or cousins, FB has lots of relatives posting for the nonshooter, so looks like a good size extended family. Some nice looking family pictures. How sad whatever got them there.
