Does anyone think it is possible that the church will take the same approach for baptismal age? All children turning 8 within the year can be baptized together. It would be efficient. Or does the scriptural mandate about 8 being the age of accountability take that option off the table? Obviously there was nothing scriptural about ordination ages so that made it an easy policy change whereas a baptismal age change would require a scriptural/doctrinal change. Yeah, it has been covered. I raised the question, in fact.
